They're great when they're open. But, they should probably change their hours to "whenever we want."

I love having this little outpost so close to home. There are rarely lines and everyone is nice. I enjoy coming to this post office. For people complaining about them being randomly closed, its because the main branch is short staffed, so whoever would be at Broad St has to work at the main one.BTW, the post office is not tax payer funded, they are self-funded.

Our mail is always on-time, delivered by hard working, courteous delivery people. We had one small concern and the post office took care of it the next day and even gave us a follow up call to make sure everything worked out. They were so kind, A+ always!

Why in the name of common sense is this post office closed for an hour during the day without any back up staff member scheduled to fill in during a lunch break. Customer service should be the only priority for tax-payer funded businesses like this one!

I always drop off my Etsy orders to this post office everyday. All the staff here are super nice. Better than any other location in my area.

I go to this post office a lot since it's a block away from my house. Service is good whenever I go, I'm always in and out very quickly. My only issue is that sometimes this post office is closed on times it says it is supposed to be open. I love going when Selene (I believe that is how you spell her name) is there, she's very nice!! I have never had a bad experience at this post office.

What’s the point of a federal public building that constantly and randomly just closes unannounced at random days and times. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! The employee here is fantastic but they constantly make her close the entire location as if they can’t just keep one permanent employee for this entire location. I am going to start a legal inquiry as to whether the government is allowed to lie & and keep erratic unprofessional hours for a federal building that’s supposed to serve the community, and find out if we can do something to fix this! The Bloomfield Postmaster should NOT be allowing this to continue, perhaps it’s time for some changes in management!

If only it were possible to leave a negative number of stars. I just walked to the post office in the sweltering heat carrying three large packages. It's 3 pm on a weekday and the office is closed. As a taxpayer, I am paying the clerk's salary. It's bad enough that this post office is closed from 1-2 every day -- it needs to be open during the other hours. I don't have a car so can't go elsewhere. This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable.

I can totally confirm everything everybody is saying about the woman named Kim. I have had the same issues with her and that is why I never go to this location. It appears as though she is going out of her way to purposefully inconvenience the customers and I have observed this on more than a few occasions. I personally believe that she might have a mental health issue because she seems "off." Something is definitely not right with her. My advice is to just go to another location and not try to confront her. It's kinda sad for me to say this but I think the USPS hires a lot of shady people because there are plenty of "Kim's" out there.

I love this little post office. I come early and there's rarely a line. The lady there is very helpful. Some post offices nobody helps you. She had me shop my package using the flat rate box instead of Priority. That saved me almost $10!

The one and only person who works there, a woman named Kim, is possibly the worst postal employee I've ever come across. Every time I went in there she was unbelievably slow, spends time talking to people who aren't even there doing business, takes calls on her cell phone while she has customers, and is OPENLY unhappy about having to do work. Bring in more than one package and she turns on an attitude like you wouldn't believe. Today was the last time I'll ever go in there. Brought in one package, the address was coming up incorrect (turns out the person who supplied the address switched the first 2 numbers of the zip code by accident) and she claimed that AT A US POST OFFICE she couldn't look up the correct zip code for a major city in the US. Luckily another postal worker was there picking up packages and she graciously looked it up real quick. We made the correction on the package and Kim started immediately complaining about "she's about to go on lunch." I tried to ignore her attitude, but when I mentioned that I need insurance on the package, she started going off about "I'm meeting my daughter on my lunch break today and she's about to have a baby, and you had to come in right before my lunch break" AS IF I KNOW WHEN HER LUNCH BREAK IS. At that point I took my package off the scale and left. This woman is unbelievable. I've been going in there for years and she NEVER WANTS TO WORK, and seems to work impossibly slowly as if she's punishing customers for even coming in the place. Why the post office has this woman working at one of their locations is beyond me, but they need to get rid of her immediately. Worst post office / postal worker in this part of NJ, hands down. I plan on filing an official complain with USPS and the local postmaster as well.
