The older guy there sucks haha!!
He's so moody it's funny and I had to laugh when walking out of the store. He's like a cartoon. That cheap, little individual certainly doesn't like to supply any bags that he already has plenty of, even as you purchase several items.

Great people ? great spot, who ever posted a bad review is prbly a angry customer, this place is very honest & staple in Montclair & Bloomfield area & commuters who use the garden state parkway entrance by the old McDonald's for a quick stop to grab what you need, they keep their prices very fair & everyone who works their is extremely friendly, guaranteed the people leaving the bad comments are the lottery people who expect to be served super fast while the employees are multitasking, for anyone who has worked in a grocery store would understand you can be the most polite person in the world & try to please everyone & you will always get a Karen who believes they are always right to quickly make judgement & post bad reviews on Google as revenge. I own a restaurant & the more popular we got the more comments flooded from other business trying to ruin our 4.9 star rating & google does not help to remove these fake or obviously 1 sided reviews. Regardless this place has been here since I was a kid I'm now 35 & never had a bad experience.. & the coffee is always excellent in the morning.

Customers beware! This business is dishonest! On two separate occasions I caught the cashier change the price of items as they add the total. Because the receipt they provide only shows the total and does not show an itemize list of items and their respective prices they put can higher prices than are displayed in the store (prices are not listed for most items). And they know we’re unable to verify the total. So please check the cash register screen as they process your transaction to ensure the prices listed and the ones computed are consistent. I will never shop there again, two times were more than enough. Very sleazy and dishonest business practice!

My two boys 13 and 10 enjoy going to krauszers a few times a week to buy softdrinks and candy yesterday they told me the employee behind the counter told them that they were coming in everyday and taking to long to buy something they felt bad that he would talk to them like that and I will be stopping buy to talk to the owner today!
