A non-veg friend brought me here and I went reluctantly thinking there would be like three sad little vegan options. But omg! Their vegan menu is absolutely gigantic.
They have vegan versions of all sorts of classic American-Italian dishes, and then some more. There is pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salad, empanadas, dessert, soup etc and etc!
Portions are good size and prices are reasonable. My friend also ordered from the vegan menu and enjoyed his food.
Definitely stop by if you’re in the area.

This place has the best vegan cheese I’ve ever tried. Seriously recommend all their pizzas.
I also tried the soup of the day and it was also really tasty.
I’ve eaten at many vegan-friendly spots around the world but this one is seriously one of my new favorites ??

The restaurant has an enormous vegan menu. You can order all sorts of vegan pizzas, sandwiches, pasta, empanadas, etc. and all desserts are vegan. I would have given 5 stars if I could.

Two out of three experiences at this place have been bad, the third being ridiculously terrible. The first time I ordered a plain vegan pizza online and arrived at the restaurant thirty minutes later to pick it up. I then waited 45 minutes because they got their orders mixed up and forgot all about me as I sat literally facing the counter waiting extremely patiently. When I finally got my order and ate it i was not impressed at all. The cheese they used was disgusting. The second experience was much better, and quicker without any mix ups. I ordered the broccoli cheddar and house made vegan chicken calzone. It was huge and pretty good except the vegan chicken was kind of odd. It’s like it melted inside the calzone... I ate it all and the vegan apple pie empanada which was pretty damn amazing. Finally the third experience made me decide to possibly never go back. My exgirlfriend and I dined in and ordered the chicken cutlet dinner, chicken parm sandwich, vegan cannolis, and apple pie empanada. We waited and waited for probably 45 minutes and watched as many other also waited. Orders were being mixed up left and right and finally when our order was brought to the table it was completely wrong. They gave us meat versions of what we asked for even though we specifically stated vegan and pointed to the items in the vegan section of the menu. Then we waited some more as the server brought another wrong order to the table, and then another, and finally some vegan food that we decided to deal with but was not fully what we originally ordered. Besides the terrible service, the vegan chicken was like a breadcrumb patty, mushy and falls apart easily. This place has literally given me the worst dining experience ever which is why I gave it two stars!
Update 1: I returned for some reason and i didn’t regret it. I have to admit their grandma pie is delicious! one of the best vegan pies in north jersey. I also had a couple empanadas which were ok. The service dramatically improved but maybe because it wasn’t dinner time rush. the dining area is a lot nicer and more welcoming and they now have vegan slice pies at the counter so you don’t have to buy a whole pie.
I also returned during dinner hours and still received great service! The vegan chicken cutlet dinner was amazing! The vegan chicken is made from chickpeas and it had a good texture to it. a bit on the brown side but tasted great.
i’m now giving them 4 stars and it’s one of my favorite places to order from!

As someone who grew up in New Jersey, take out Italian food is just so nostalgic for me. So when I found out that near my grandparents house is an Italian restaurant with plentiful vegan options i was sold!
Pizzanada did not disappoint. My wife and I got the penne vodka, lasagna, grandma pizza and vegan cannoli. Everything was not only delicious, but unbelievably delicious! I was brought back to being a kid late on a Friday night eating penne vodka and watching Golden Girls. Probably cuz that's what I'm literally doing right now lol!
We also had a little bit of a confusing moment there where the name that was on our ticket was not the name that I go by. Just a classic email/ name mixup. It got kind of stressful for a second, but they handled it with a lot of grace and poise and patience and were super friendly about everything. They even checked to make sure everything was vegan! That kind of customer service cements me customer, as long as they keep those standards high.
100% chance that I'm going back as soon as humanly possible.

This review has been a long time coming, and I can honestly say that Pizzanada has become one of my absolute favorite spots since I first discovered it last fall. As a vegan, I've had the pleasure of exploring many of their abundant vegan options, each leaving me thoroughly satisfied. What's even more impressive is that Pizzanada caters equally well to both vegans and non-vegans, making it a perfect place for all.
VEGAN HIGHLIGHTS:
1. EGGPLANT GRANDMA PIE ($24.95): A true delight, featuring eggplant cutlets, marinara, vegan mozzarella, and basil. The combination of textures and flavors in every mouthful is simply phenomenal. The sheer enjoyment I experienced with this dish stretched over multiple days.
2. EMPANADAS: Two empanadas that particularly stood out were the Mac & Cheese Empanada (often available on a 2 for $5 special), a delightful fusion of softness and crunch, and the Nutella, Strawberry, and Banana Empanada ($5), which served as a perfect sweet ending to the meal.
3. VEGAN PHILLY CHEESE STEAK SANDWICH ($15.95): Loaded with chunks of savory vegan steak, melted cheese, peppers, and onions, this sandwich hit all the right spots. I opted for a side of vegan blue cheese, which only enhanced the overall goodness of this sandwich.
While the above dishes hold a special place in my heart, there are a couple of others that, while good, didn't quite reach the same level:
1. PLAIN VEGAN PIZZA ($16.95): The flavorful sauce and well-cooked crust are commendable, but the vegan cheese could use some improvement, occasionally presenting a sticky and chewy texture. Nevertheless, when topped with additional ingredients, I found it makes the pizza more enjoyable.
2. VEGAN TRIPLE DECKER MELTED REUBEN SANDWICH ($15.95): Filled with vegan pastrami, Russian dressing, and vegan gouda cheese, this sandwich had potential. However, it leaned towards the saltier side, which somewhat detracted from the overall enjoyment. Additionally, the fries were a bit soggy (which I know often happens to fries during the delivery process).
3. VEGAN BANANA WALNUT CAKE ($8): While the taste was enjoyable, I found it to be slightly overpriced for a dessert, and I was surprised by the cost when I checked it after getting home.
If you're in the area, Pizzanada is a must-visit destination. I can't wait to slowly make my way through the rest of their scrumptious vegan creations - this place has truly won me over!

You’ll never find the kind of options here anywhere else. Not only are the options abundant and delicious, they are also very creative and unique.

Most Omni places that have vegan options have the usual stuff, but this place has things like vegan fried lasagna. Ok, so it’s not the healthiest, but delicious and different. Also, the manager was so kind and they also had a whole fridge full of vegan desserts.

Wow! We were pleasantly surprised at the number of vegan options! Gina was not only warm and friendly, but truly excited about the offerings, especially the newest ones not yet on the menu. There are all the traditional pizzeria dishes that have been veganized as well as a long list of both savory and sweet empanadas. Even if you avoid Impossible meat alternatives as we do, there are still a ton of food choices. We tried the crabcakes, eggplant fries, a slice of pizza and an Italian hot dog empanada! Sauces and dips were top notch and well paired with the food. Empanada dough is light; filling is plentiful.
With a long list of vegan desserts available, we chose to bring home the double choc chip cookies (great fudgy choice).
A bit pricey, but they deserve 5 stars
for effort!

I would suggest picking up instead of getting delivery because the pizza came cold. But after heating it back up I could not tell a difference between dairy cheese and their vegan cheese. Delish! Also they upcharge a lot for vegan anything, like double the price for they’re sandwiches. But I would eat here again just because it tastes amazing.
