This location is my least favorite. They are so rude to customers! They will also say they are closed at 8:15pm while the sign clearly says they are open until 8:30pm. “Can’t these people understand we’re closed?! We want to go home” they will say.

Love my Aldi! They have the basics that you need and then some limited supply of seasonal items and surprising finds. Those items are there one day and gone the next .. so pick it up when you see it! Great prices and surprisingly a nice selection of cheeses!

I absolutely loved my ALDIs in Bloomfield ave in Bloomfield NJ until I went to the one on rt. 46 in Totawa NJ just more organized just brighter.

This store is very busy and the cashier that I talk to was not friendly. She refused to complete my order and I had to call the police. This is a true story and I’m falling lost in Newark New Jersey.

I don’t know who appointed this store to the bald headed manger. The service is preposterous, the bathrooms are dirty first thing in the morning the associates go around complaining about each other to one another while customers are in the store. The manager doesn’t care about customers or the intent of customer service. As you can see the reviews in the last two weeks are horrible! I wish there was a NOT RECOMMENDED option to put down. If you don’t like your job PLEASE quit giving out frustration to the middle aged seniors is NOT THE WAY. I will be filling a complaint to corporate very detailed with pictures and names once I get them. Go to the ALDI in Livingston 5 stars across their board!

An upsetting situation occurred at the Bloomfield, NJ Aldi. An associate directed us to the regular lanes instead of the self-checkout lanes, claiming we had too many items in our cart, despite several self-checkout lanes being free. We clearly did not have many items, as I saw customers with similar amounts using the self-checkout. In a hurry, I noticed two available self-checkout lanes and proceeded to use one. However, the associate intentionally closed the lane, preventing us from paying. This was very upsetting and embarrassing for my wife and me. We have been loyal customers since the store opened, and I have witnessed associates treating customers rudely before. This issue needs to be escalated, as the customer service at this location must improve.
