Wonderful care. Excellent service. Beautiful facility. So pleased with every aspect of this place: Clean, welcoming, attentive, well managed and expeditious. I am very particular about where I take my dog. Probably more than for myself, as I lost a family pet to poor care. This place checked all the boxes. Thrilled to have found them.

I took my elder kitty twice to BRAH. The first time they did a thorough exam as she wasn't doing well. They were knowledgeable and helpful. When I went there for them to finally put her down they were kind, compassionate and caring. I highly recommend these wonderful vets. Thank you Dr Rotella & staff for your kindness while putting my kitty to rest.

Basking Ridge Vet hospital is wonderful. Dr. Hollo saw my Golden Retriever today on an Emergency Basis even though I wasn't yet a client. He already had a busy schedule but agreed to see my dog Finn and may very well have just saved my dog's life. I am so grateful. I highly recommend this vet practice!

Don’t be fooled by its pretty looks. If your dog is fearful don’t waste your time. Staff was extremely rude regarding my dogs behavior. Yes, he was being bad. However, taking a fearful dog away from the owner to a separate procedure room where other animals are being treated is a recipe for disaster. Certainly, this situation could have been prevented. He was stressed to the point he defecated on himself. I can’t have the only dog who hates the vet???

Beautiful facility that they pay for by overcharging customers. Never buy your pets medication from them as they will charge you over $120 for the same $94 medication on line! If your smart about your money and refuse the multiple "extras" that are pushed at you at every visit ... you will be told your business is not wanted at this practice and you should go elsewhere!

Not very friendly. I do not like how they bring your dog in a separate room without you to examine and administer shots. Also included is a free nail clipping. The vet made every excuse not to do it because she was afraid. I even said I will put a muzzle on him he will be fine. Nope. Very unprofessional and pricey.

We just moved to basking ridge and our little coco had to get her teeth pulled. They took great care of her. Dr rotello is so nice And caring. She answered all of our questions and continues to do so during our baby’s recovery period

I have been going to Basking Ridge Animal Hospital for over 20 years now and have felt I have been heard in the coordination of care for my precious furry family members:-). I am confident Dr. Hollo has the best interests of my pet in mind. There have been some tough decisions along the way with all my labs but even though my dog's went to heaven, they well cared for by BRAH and myself and had a life with human love and excellent care

I highly recommend Basking Ridge Animal Hospital. The facility is beautifully renovated and immaculate. Dr. Hollo has been wonderfully attentive to my puppy who presented with with chronic lameness over a 2 month period. Despite no signs of injury on an X-ray, Dr. Hollo and his team were ALWAYS available to listen to my concern and continued to search for answers. Dr. Hollo was ultimately correct with his FCP elbow diagnosis and now my dog is pain free and recovering from surgery. Dr. Hollo and his staff often called me after hours to check on my dog, and have treated him as an important member of my family. The staff go out of their way to accommodate appt needs and are polite and responsive to all calls or questions. Basking Ridge Animal Hospital is top notch!

Besides every receptionist telling me different things that was needed they also over charge. 1 receptionist said I needed 1 thing, another told me I needed 2 things, the 3rd told me I needed 1 thing, the Dr told something else. Just very confused. they need to all get on the same page. Had to call numerous times to get the right answer. Never again will I go there or ever recommend any of their services. Look else where. I am sure the Dr will respond and defend them, but its all for nothing they are still a rip off. I even told someone I went there and they said why would I ever do that?

I went to this place because, after adopting a cat, was given a certificate for spaying cost reduction that is paid for and approved by the State of NJ. Was told a pre-appointment was necessary which is understandable. This cost $80 and the exam took just over 3 minutes. On the day of drop off, I was asked if other options were wanted if needed. My understanding was that if something went wrong, these options would be applied. I agreed. In the log run, my $20.00 low fee spaying just cost me $477.26, in addition to the $80 for the 3 minute exam. A spaying at another hospital that did not accept the state program for adopted animals was only $200. Will never recommend this place to anyone. If you plan on going there, please beware of non necessary charges. I have two words for them, RUN AWAY.

If I could give more starts I would !! Dr.Erno Hollo and his staff are absolutely wonderful !! I ha ve had dogs for over 30 years , and I know a few things about Animal Hospital's , and this by far is THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEE !! The facility is Immaculate !!! The staff is very knowledgeable , and full of compassion!! Answered all my questions , and made sure I understood what they were saying .. I can't say enough about Dr. Erno Hollo !! This man has a heart of GOLD !! Right to the point , no candy coated BS .. He told me right away that my dog might not make it ! This was Absolutely devastating news , however this man did not do any unnecessary actions until he knew that my dog would make it . It was a very nerve racking couple of days .. but the Doctor , not his staff , but him .. would call me first thing in the morning , afternoon and before he would leave for the night !! The first night he went back 2:30 am to check on her !! Amazing !!! I was to need a second opinion , which would meant that I would have taken the dog to a surgeon down the shore , which would have cost more money .. This wonderful Doctor took it Upon himself to send the x-rays to the specialist and have a Consultation over the phone !! This man is not in it for the money !! He is a real humanitarian that loves the animals !! I can go on and on how great this Animal Hosptail is , but there is not enough time !! So if you love your pets , as I know you do , you must bring them here !! You will be as impressive as I was .. May the Good Lord watch over all who work here , for they are a blessing to all who enter their doors !! Btw .. my dog is a 5 lb 5 year old Yorkie , who I love with all my heart !! She is getting stronger everyday !!
