The Berlin Farmers Market has been a family-owned and operated establishment since 1940, evolving from a livestock and produce auction into one of the East Coast's oldest and largest markets. The indoor market now spans approximately 150,000 square feet of temperature-controlled shopping, featuring over 85 stores offering discount prices and a wide variety of products, including an exceptional butcher, Amish bakery, produce, candy, wallpaper, furniture, jewelry, footwear, leather goods, automotive supplies, and brand-name clothing for the entire family. While the market is generally well-received, some visitors have noted issues with certain cash-only vendors and the presence of counterfeit products, such as bootleg plushies, which go against the market's stated policies. Additionally, some have expressed concerns about the family-friendly atmosphere at times. Overall, the Berlin Farmers Market remains a popular destination for those seeking a diverse shopping experience and the opportunity to support local businesses.

I mean, it's definitely eclectic! At first glance, it's a bit littered and it smells of eight different food stalls. But there are bargains to be had everywhere! The bulk goods are top notch and I found everyone to be super friendly.
