I go because it is convenient to get to from my house. I am one to regularly use the locker room. For over a month now their hasn’t been any soap provided to shower with. On occasion I need to put my work clothes that are on hangers inside a locker. The lockers are to small to allow for clothing on a hanger.

Solid gym. Solid staff. Solid gains. Most importantly, it's cleaner than most other gyms I've been to. Corporate should use Retro Bayville as the standard for all of its gyms across NJ.

Hands down 100”% better than Lacey Retro (although that bar wasn’t set too high). Great equipment, spaced out, very clean and great staff so far. Making this my new home gym and can’t wait to get to know more of their members.

Overall cleanliness over the building. Very organized and well spread out machines. I’ve been noticing a lot of new equipment, and they’re all quality. Definitely not the cheap stuff! Not sure if there’s a new manager or owner but whoever is in charge now is doing big moves. Excited to see what’s next!

I just want too say thank you too Retro Fitness inn Bayville for everything. I've always enjoy going too this gym since I became a member back inn 2017. I've made great memories and met new people and I've made great friends there as well including the staff. It breaks my heart that I'm moving away too a new state but I'm forever thankful for coming too this gym. And I'm very happy with the support I had from this gym when I had my open heart surgery back inn 2022. Wishing you all the best

This gym has improved dramatically! They’ve upgraded a ton of equipment! It’s always clean!! The staff is very helpful and friendly! This gym has it all if you’re looking for a great place to train!

Place is dirty unhygienic! Greedy Policy play games when you want to cancel membership, inferior equipment not safe be very careful using them, they only care about making money not the people worst gym I have ever been to.

I have been a member of this gym for over 10 years, I’m 50 and yes, I admit it, I’m a bit of a meat head. I grunt a little from time to time and I have been known to drop weights from exhaustion. I’m a gym rat, it’s what I do. But don’t mistake that for being impolite or inconsiderate and the retro staff knows that it takes hard work and consistency to get the results and they have always been very helpful with advise, support and a spot when it has been needed. Sharon, the manager has always been so upbeat, positive and helpful and I must say she does an excellent job running this gym. All of the equipment is always well maintained and in good working order, the gym is clean and the staff is friendly.

Why would a gym advertise that they have 150lb dumbbells if every time you use them you have to be quiet as a mouse. People drinking coffee and reading their kindle while others are trying to work out. When talking to the “GM” Sharon she couldn’t seem to care less. She also became extremely rude and condescending. What a terrible business platform with disrespectful employees. Do yourself a favor and drive past this retro.

“Worst gym in the area …the GM is very rude and disrespectful….they seem to only welcome the older people……could be a great gym if it had better management!!! Upset over people grunting when lifting heavy weight??? What a clown show, I'll take my chances at planet
