Sigh. I guess it has to be me. First off, I'm sorry Dollar General corporation, I want you to know I really like your stores and will continue to shop at the Dollar General despite my experience here. I understand you cannot be everywhere at once to make things run the way they're supposed to. That being said, this particular Dollar General is awful. Mainly because of the employees that work there. They're rude and disrespectful. They actually take pride in NOT helping the customer it's insane. I've never in all my years seen employees at a business happy, if not elated to tell you they will not help you and leave the store basically. I truly hope that there higher ups can put the pawns in order or put them back in the chess box. I have this store 1 star just because it wouldn't let me review it unless I did. I wish there was a way to give it negative stars because that's what the employees deserve. It's rediculous being talked down to by someone who clearly still lives at home way past their prime and wasn't properly raised or disciplined clearly otherwise they wouldn't carry themselves in such a trashy way. So in short? No problems with Dollar General, but it's time to take out the trash it's stinking up the place.

This place is one HOT MESS! I do not even know where to begin. Horrible management. Staff is made up of older women who are on the professional scale of elementary children. However, children are excusable grown adults zero excuse! Beyond clueless to their surroundings.. as customers wait at the front counter while the staff and management continue chit chatting with language that should not be open to the public. I mean seriously how low can ya go people? YOU ARE WORKING in a place of business have a little class! Furthermore, pricing is never accurate.. ever!Tickets on displays, shelves, merchandise are one price, then when its actually rang upat the register the price suddenly is roughly 50% higher on most of the items, then what is actually labeled in the store on the shelves. Furthermore, You then have to wait another half a century for them to go check the price on the shelf come back and change it..which takes forever because usually they don’t know what they’re doing or have to call someone to help them and just pray that that person knows what they’re doing so then maybe you can actually get out of there in the vicinity of time! With that being said.. if you are anticipating a quick store run, well you better run in the opposite direction.

Dollar General always has some great HIDDEN deals! You just have to know how to find them. I have been going to this store since I moved to south Jersey from north Jersey where I lived my entire life. I think this DG is better than the DG stores in north Jersey

The ladies who work in the morning although nice to the customers treat their employees like dirt. Teresa the manager complains if another employee says hi to her in a way she doesn’t approve. She will call another employee who is busy stocking to the register just to finish her conversation which probably entails gossip about another employee. And would tell us we’re not working hard enough when she’s on her 3rd smoke break of the day… easily the worst job I’ve ever had. The only thing that’s priced well is the food/snacks otherwise I don’t advise coming here and especially not working here. Also yes we do have a functional bathroom but Teresa keeps it locked because she doesn’t want to clean it. Sorry to everyone I had to turn down to use the bathroom it’s her policy not ours. DO NOT WORK HERE
