I was just yelled at over the phone for calling, saying that he "can't be wasting time on the phone with me." I would understand if he never offered to give me an estimate to begin with, but he did. I hadn't received anything in my email since last week and was just calling to see if they had my email wrong or maybe I could pick it up but I won't be giving business to a place that treats their customers like garbage. He also charged me almost $1000 for a wheel alignment and to replace two tires. I can't even tell if I'm turning my front wheels so I have to stare at the road. I am getting a second opinion on the work that he did because the wheels do not feel right when I'm driving and I already saw another reviewer say his wheel fell off on the highway so I'm even more sure he did not do the job right.

Horrible attitude! Speaking to him nice and calm and was yelling at me saying he and his son were busy and can't talk all day when the call in total was 1 minute and 31 seconds. That is not how you conduct business and also not how you speak to someone who is talking to you calmly and respectfully.

I cannot say enough good things about AJ and Alex. I am new to the area and was looking for a neighborhood shop to fix my vehicles, particularly my corvette. After visiting several shops near me, I found Thomson Motorsports and stopped in. I haven’t been anywhere else since! They are a father and son team that loves what they do; more than that, they care about their clients. Moreover, and even rarer, they are mechanics you can trust. I could go on and on singing their praises (the attached picture is an example of AJ’s work). Thomsons did an awesome job fixing some vacuum leaks on my Trans Am, and getting my Camaro set up with a full exhaust and some motor mounts! On top of that they tracked down a misfire issue in less than 30 minutes, that the Chevy dealership couldn’t diagnose even after having my car for 3 days.If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and experienced family run shop with the best pricing in the area, I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to bring any car here for any type of service or repair!Services: Exhaust

I see a lot of posts where people asking for recommendations on auto repair, so I wanted to share my great experience with Thompson Auto Repair!After years of taking our vehicles to the same place, we were looking for somewhere new. Thompson Auto Repair in brandy station was recommended a lot, so I thought I would give them a try.Y’all!! I will never take my vehicle anywhere else. It was a five-star experience from the second I called to make an appointment. Their customer service, communication, timeliness, and fair prices have blew me away.I initially took it to them to put on four new tires, an oil change, and state inspection but I knew there was other work would likely need to be done for it to pass inspection, so I asked them to also do a bumper-to-bumper check.Based on their findings, I needed new rear brake pads and rotors, coolant exchanged, replacement of a turn signal bulb & new air filters.Now, some of this I was expecting, but parts that I was not l. I definitely would have thought they were just trying to pull a fast one on me to make more money.However!!! They sent a report to my phone with tons of pictures to prove/justify every single item they suggested be replaced. I LOVED being able to see the existing parts myself and be able to fully understand why they were making their suggestions and make an educated decision on whether to pay the money to get these items fixed. Needless to say, based on the pictures they provided to me, they were being completely genuine and those parts REALLLYYY needed to be fixed for my families safety, not just so they could get an extra dollar in their pockets.If you’ve read this far, there’s a chance you may be looking for a new place to take your vehicle. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you took your vehicle to anywhere else, but Thompson Auto Repair. We will forever and always use them in the future! They repaired my father’s older BMW that we had taken to a few other places that said they could not fix it!! This had been going on for months and my life was consumed with it!!Not only did they fix it in just one day, they were so reasonably priced!! This is the only shop I’ll go to now after dealing with mistakes from other shops. A family run business that goes out of their way to get the job done right. Taken my vehicles here many times, and they’ve never done me wrong. Their communication is good describing what is wrong, and usually giving multiple options on how to proceed.Bonus that they’re usually working on some unique vehicles to look at while you’re waiting.
