The teachers and assistants are super nice and treat the kids well, but there management not so much, they get write ups for the little things and don’t treat there employees right is no wonder they always hiring.

Both of our children attended Primrose School of Berkeley Heights, and we had a very positive experience from the toddler class through PreK and summer camp. The teachers are extremely skilled, caring, patient, responsive, constantly provide feedback, and create a real connection with the kids (they often ask how the kids are doing, years after moving on to a different class or school). They’ve helped teach our kids everything from proper hand washing to reading and math. Regular classroom activities are often supplemented with special programs or guests focused on sports, arts, or science. And the frequent updates, photos and videos throughout the day are reassuring (and fun to look through.) The administrative staff work very hard to keep the school running smoothly and the families involved and updated (email responses are very prompt) and even entertained (there is at least one family event or party per quarter, with good food, nice decorations, and fun things to do for all.) The school building, classrooms, and playground are clean, safe, well-equipped, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The food and snacks provided (which is so convenient!) are healthy, diverse, but also tasty (kids sometimes make desserts in class.) We are happy to see our children so well-prepared for school - but also sad they have to leave the comforting environment of PSBH and its teachers and staff.

Sending your child to daycare can be an incredibly overwhelming experience- especially from parents of a “pandemic baby”. When we sent our son to Primrose in the fall of 2021, it was the first time we were leaving him in the care of anyone other than grandparents! (He had just turned one).During that crazy time we all were dealing with masks, quarantines, and health guidelines that seemed to change every day.The leadership team at Primrose handled all of these imposed changes with grace and maintained a high level of care for all children. We never doubted the love and support from the teachers in our son’s classroom and knew that all staff was working hard to keep the kids safe and healthy at school!Now, two years later we are preparing to send our daughter this fall and know that she will experience the same nurturing environment.We appreciate all of you for making sure each day is a great one!

My daughter was in the Early PreSchool Program. The teachers were nothing short of amazing every day. My daughter was also very hesitant about going to school/daycare for a while and the teachers were SO patient to her, so much so that my daughter loves going to school now! We had a great experience.

We have been part of the Primrose family for two years and the personal and thoughtful care given to our girl has been remarkable. From the carefully thought-out learning programs to the helpful staff to the monthly menus! We love it.

My son has been going to Primrose in Berkeley Heights for 4 years now. The last 2 years however have been the most challenging. Working as a single mom, remotely with a pre-schooler during a real life pandemic was almost as painful as childbirth, seriously. I really don’t know what I would have done if PSBH wasn’t there with me through this time. They worked overtime to meet all the changing COVID requirements and open their doors, when most daycares were just wrapping their head around the shifting laws. Showing up for their students and parents, when they needed them the most, is what counts. Fostering an environment of love and acceptance matters. Staff that partner with you for the best outcomes for your child is everything. But most importantly, having peace of mind when I drop off my child at this beautiful school…we’ll that’s priceless.

Definitely the best Preschool and PreK experience for my family. My child enjoys getting ready for school every morning and that’s the best feeling by far as a parent. We are always welcomed with warm smiles by all teachers, I receive messages throughout the day and lots of pictures, and I am always notified by the management team of any illnesses or updates I need to be made aware of, and I go to work relaxed knowing my child is in great hands. The curriculum is hands down amazing, and my daughter grows more confident and independent everyday. This is all thanks to the wonderful, caring, and respectful staff!
