Another "hit or miss" Lidl location. I've been here many times, and never had an ideal experience. Either the store is in disarray, or there are unacceptable problems at the checkout (lines, etc.) I've found the self-checkout to be a pain in the neck and way too sensitive as I need cashier assistance practically every single time to correct the register. The Lidl's further west are better. But it's still nice to have this option in Bergen County.

Update: they've added a self checkout option and it is not weight sensitive. It is one of the better self check out experiences. Now the store is complete.
Occasionally, the run out of stock of some staples, but the prices are competitive and the quality is great to make it one of my go-to stores.

The main reason I go to Lidl is bakery. They produce is good. Milk and selection is mediocre. Good choice of packed Salmon for VERY reasonable price. However they bakery is OUTSTANDING. They have three types of baggettes, chocolate croissants, chibatta, you name it. All of them are VERY delicious.

It's a decent sized store. Very clean and organized. Although both of the restrooms were out of service. A lot of wasted space. I wasn't impressed with the prices. I could have gotten a lot of the items cheaper at Shoprite. Especially the meats. The meat was ridiculously overpriced. We tried the store brand pizza, it was so small and had so little in the way of toppings that one person should have been eating it. It didn't fill up two people. I just wasn't impressed like I thought I would be. All the hype about the store being so much less than other grocery stores. Lidl didn't live up to it. I spent $54.36 and only had two grocery bags. Needless to say I won't be shopping there again.

Great supermarket. I shop there regularly. Great vegetables fruits and meats. Bakery is the best.
Basically everything is nicely priced, however, Spring water has gone up in price so I buy it at Aldi.
