“Finding a good hot dog/sausage is much harder than you would think. This place is a good solution for that. It's a little stand outside of a butcher shop. There is a line basically all of the time. Is it earth shattering? No. But if you want a brat and want it grilled up nicely, this is your place. Kielbasa is $10. It's huge, pretty good but skip it for something else like the brat. The brat is $4. Worth it.”

“There are a few butcher shops on authur ave but for me this is my favorite. This place will literally do whatever you want them to do to a cut of meat. They also carry things like duck, lamb, rabbit, quail, and a few other more exotic meats if you're into that kind of stuff. Great place and make sure you ask for Jimmy he is a true professional!”

“I love shopping at Minar! I discovered this place in 2022, the customer service is always great and consistent. I can safely give a review now because I am always, always happy with my experience and purchases. First of all, the meats are top quality, and let me tell you this, they customize your cuts for however you plan to prepare. For example, I asked for lamb, he asked how I plan to cook it, I said on the grill, he said ok I’ll leave a little fat on since it’s for the grill…that is just one of many experiences. Everyone I’ve recommended said they wish they knew about this place sooner. Great store to spend your money lol… I love it there!Photos: Custom cut of the Porterhouse Steak. They’re so great and always hook me up with excellent cuts of meat, and at a really fair price given the quality (yeah supermarkets in the area have it cheaper but the quality isn’t as good).Lack of parking is annoying to navigate but not the end of the world either.”

Super nice guy who shared with me where they source their meats from Upstate, and how passionate the owners are about the quality of their product — to the extent that they drive up themselves to purchase some of the meat they sell in-store.While it may be pricey, their products are worth it if you want the best quality possible. You can 100% taste the difference!Finally, given that costs are through the roof recently, there aren’t too many places like this left in New York. I am so glad this place is still around, and would encourage you to patronize this business. (No I don’t not work for them.)”

“Very nice Very nice supermarket for ethnic foods, Excellent service, Good variety of products, Friendly hosts, And a pleasant pizza corner to eat lunch or snack.Some dishes are expensive, but those are unique to get elsewhere and delicious.I find their products indispensable unique and enjoyable. And feel welcome while shopping.The warm food deli section is exceptional as well, Food is fresh Kosher, And location is acceptable. With the lidel across the street That is very not good And a farmers market a walk away It's well situated as well.”
