While we love Aldi for the pragmatic way to obtain necessary staples, this one is a bit off the mark. I believe they have an issue with staffing, as the store is almost always somewhat in shambles, and they do not have enough cashiers as the lines are very long. They do not have self-checkout apparently due to their assessment of retail theft? Either way - it's still an Aldi - but is mostly a gamble going there in hopes of having a perfectly smooth experience.

Reasonable prices , usually big line , but cashiers are highly skilled , they trained to speed up the check out . Stay in business .

I actually love ALDI however this ALDI’s has a Caucasian female older cashier who is so racist. One time she asked me if I was using an EBT card. She didn’t ask the next guest who wasn’t black the same question. Today I overheard her telling a Hispanic customer to hurry up! How rude… Then she reassured me that my credit card went through as if I was uncertain if it would. They need to train this woman… soon. She is ignorant and doesn’t realize her micro aggressions are extremely insulting.

Aldi Bergenfield - A sign designating which isle is being use to check out would be very helpful. Customers are lining up on two isles. It changes without signage.

My go-to store for fruits & veggies as prices are good. Happened 2 be in Bergenfield, so I went there ..
only 2 cashiers, but they managed. People waited quietly on line for about 10 minutes to pay!! Kudos to the cashiers!!!

I don't like what some cashiers do with the shopping cart that you presviously sanitized if you were lucky to find some as you enter. They switch your shopping cart with one they already have for people who need. I sanitize my shopping cart to use while I shop and when I put the groceries in my car. This time the cashier was rushing me to use the same shopping cart and not being careful when putting the thinga back in the cart. when I tend to organize the items in by weight and volume so when they put my stuff they don"t get squeezed and brake in the proceas, like ships, crakers, soft fruit, etc, but, it does not matter most time they put heavy stuff over soft ones and I don't feel comfortable to come back for something damaged.
