The pharmacy staff is nice - when you go to the store. Which you will have to do because you can never contact them via phone. You have to sit through 3 minutes of Covid related IVR before you are told "pharmacy associates not available, leave a message" - they typically don't call you back either. Very frustrating when you need to clarify things or speak with someone about the errors they made in filling your prescription.

This store is horrible. I had to switch to Washington Rite Aid for my prescriptions because Belvidere was so horrible but made the mistake of still doing general general shopping there. My rewards card stopped swiping so the girl made a second account. Spelled my name wrong, changed the preferred store back to Belvidere without my permission and changed the email address of my old account to something bogus so they could use it for my new account and couldn't enter my phone number since it was already in use so the left it blank. This means I no longer will get text messages reminding me of my meds or when med is ready for pickup. I went to refill my RX and saw it was to be picked up at Belvidere. I was able to login to my profile and fix all the mistakes but was unable to fix my phone number since it was already in use with the old account. I had to stop my RX from going to their store since they have messed up my prescriptions in the past so I put in a bogus number for it to allow me to save the other corrections I made. Went back to remove the phone number and it won't let me remove it so now someone will be getting calls whenever I am due for refill and when refill is ready for pickup. Called Belvidere to have it fixed and they said there was no way to fix it. I work IT. Someone has admin rights to look up my phone number to find the old account that it is linked to and delete it so I can apply it to my new account that they created. I told them if not fixed I will have to go to CVS for my future refills. They could care less and stuck to the story that they can't fix it. So they are trying to tell me that everyone with a rewards card that stops working gets a second account created with their phone number linked to the first account that we can't access because they changed the username to the account which is the email address so they can create a new account with that email address therefore none of these customers also can't receive texts or phone calls when their meds are ready because the phone number is linked to the old account. Once again I had to report this store to corporate and once again I have to drive further away this time going to CVS to get my prescriptions filled because Belvidere Rite AId made it so I can't use any of their pharmacies. Make the extra drive to get to Washington RIte Aid they have been flawless. I wish Washington was an option for me Belvidere made it so I can't use any Rite Aid for RXs nationwide.

I have had great experiences with this store, they are helpful and have things that are needed when no one else does. The prices are higher but the service is excellent

I think it's unfortunate that a local store, despite being a chain, takes advantage of the locals with extremely high prices. Ever since the local food store( A&P) went out of business this store has jacked up the prices. At least double what is charged at Walmart. It's sad really, locals are forced to pay it or travel to nearby towns. They should be ashamed of themselves.
