These guys were really helpful, professional, efficient, etc. They were able to check out my vehicle in a matter of hours when most of the other shops around couldn't get to it for days. They gave me a very reasonable estimate, though in the end I decided not to have the vehicle repaired after all. Prior to bringing my van to John (owner) who btw is the most respectful and courteous professional I've met in some time, I took my van elsewhere to a shop on 611, right off Richmond RD where the mechanic told me I needed new coil packs, then charged me $900 after quoting $800 which solved the problem for about 1 day when it started idling bad and stalling whenever I stopped at a stop sign. I had just bought the van from a family member knowing about this issue but thought I was getting it taken care of. Well upon speaking to my brother in law whom sold me the van I found out he had already changed the coil packs less than 1000 miles prior. To sum it up I was ripped off. I then dropped my van off at auto MD and an hour later was told it was the throttle body. He replaced it about a year ago and I literally have had zero issues since. And to top all of this, he had an RV that needed some work that he didn't have time for, he gave me completely free, that I was able to drive right off his lot. Amazing. Friendly so long as you keep forking over money and never having your vehicle repaired, no honor, no integrity, should've known once they promised me a lifetime warranty on a part and tried to avoid putting that in writing on a bill. Took it to another shop who figured it out in less than an hour. DISGRACEFUL!Services: Engine repair

I was driving around with a nail in my tire for months and finally saw it while pumping air at Quickcheck. I called the nearest place, got a YouTube video all ready to watch b/c I thought I'd be there for at least a half hour with my last minute request. Well I don't think I was there even 5 min. and $10 later I had my tire patched. Will definitely be going back!

Love these guys. They’re quick when I’m in a pinch. They were one of the only garages I could trust working on my Volvo S40. Most importantly, they were brutally honest towards the end of my volvos life instead of robbing me. Trustworthy and excellent service!

Not sure what's going on with the negative reviews, but I've had nothing but excellent experiences here. I've brought many vehicles to Automotive MD over the years and they've always been a pleasure to deal with and has twice saved me from doing work other mechanics told me I needed. I will continue to bring my company fleet here as well as my personal vehicles.
