I was late because my car battery discharged and I called the office ahead of time about that. They still told me to come but there was no one at the yellow umbrella, neither at the surfing gear site. I waited for half an hour only to be told that they don't have a reimbursement or rescheduling option for being late. Should have told me upfront, don't come if you are late.

We had such a special week watching our 4 year old son learn about ocean safety and surfing at Summertime surf. The staff for 'Keiki Camp' was absolutely amazing with the little kids. The conditions were a little bit challenging the first few days of camp and the staff navigated it with confidence and ease, making sure the kids had a wonderful time while staying safe. We cant wait to sign him up again for another week this summer, my son had a really great time and talks about it often!

Just had my first lesson with Summertime Surf. Awesome guys. I had ZERO experience and I was catching waves after my first few attempts! My instructor was helpful, patient, and encouraging. He was actually excited when I would catch a good wave. I would recommend them for all ages and experiencelevels!

My 9 year old was part of the afternoon surf camp at Asbury Park. We were super happy with his experience, the instructors were well organized and even on day one felt safe under their care as they paddled out. It was amazing to watch my son by day two catch waves. I highly recommend Summertime Surf and the experience my son had will be talked about for years. Looking forward to booking again next summer!

My twins just took private lessons from Alex in Point Pleasant. They LOVED it and by day 3 were up and doing tricks on the boards. He was AMAZING and spent so much time with them. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing surf school - they managed to safely have camp and lessons all throughout COVID. All the instructors are great for help people of all ages and skill levels!

We had an incredible first time surfing experience with this group in Pt. Pleasant!! My 10 and 12 year old boys loved every minute of it and as parents we were extremely pleased with the professionalism and ATTENTION the instructors had with all the kids the entire week! We had a few day’s of rough waters and as a parent we were thrilled to see how safely they managed the kids and the lessons. We will certainly look into doing this surf camp again next summer!! Highly recommend it ??

The folks running the camp at Asbury Park make the kids feel welcome and valued. At the end of every day the kids have ridden some waves, feel accomplished, and are stoked for the next day. Mine always ask for more. As a parent, I watch that every session includes safety and ocean skills.

These guys are the best. My 10 year old daughter has taken a few private lessons and a couple weeks of surf camp. They had her popping up on her board on the first day!

Booked a surfing camp in Bradly Beach location. This is the worse class ever. In the day that people are not allowed to go to water, kids were practically thrown to water unsupervised. After that day my son did not want to go to the water at all, forget about surfing. This is the worse experience for beginners, for kids who don’t know much about ocean. And administrator is not empathetic, but she said that she is sorry. So out of 5 days, we used just one. There was no refunds, no store credits, not even a desire to motivate, encourage the kid. So really good place to test if you are a “good parent”. If you don’t push your kid-you are weak, but if do push your kid then you are strong and important. Just then have to be ready for psychology sessions and water phobia. This place should not conduct business this way! Especially that they did not do any assessments, like the kids ability to swim or deal with big waves. Shame.

It was my 12 year old daughters first time and she loved it! The instructor was awesome and she got up several times. We will be back for more lessons for sure!!

I had the wonderful experience of a private lesson at the Asbury location. John was a patient, informative instructor. During the downtime of waiting for waves, he answered all my questions knowledgeably and provided all sorts of fascinating ocean science! I left the lesson feeling much more confident and can’t wait to get on a board again!

I went to their women’s surf weekend and it was amazing!! Very professional and friendly atmosphere. They were patient, but made sure everyone accomplished their goals. I would highly recommend if you have any interest at all in learning to surf or surfing in general!

5 star surf school and instructors! Went to Summertime in Belmar for a refresher lesson after not being on a board for 10 years. My instructor Nick was awesome, excellent teacher and surfer. We had a great time out on the water, lots of waves and lots of laughs. All the other instructors out there were very cool as well. It was a very welcoming, fun environment. I highly recommend Nick because he provided excellent pointers and made sure you were catching as many waves as possible. Thanks again Nick and everyone at Summertime, I highly recommend these guys.
