What a doctor.I bought my 12 year dog in wthi her complete backside paralyzed with all intents of putting her down.He bought her in h i s backroom. Diagnosed her with tick paralysis.and gave her an anti -venom sho t and drew some blood she has lyme but has steadily made progress and is up and walking. It was like a miracle . This man knows his stuff

I, unfortunately, have to agree with some of the other unfavorable reviews. I took my 12 year old cat here for a probable euthanizing, and was told after the initial consult at the desk that I would not be allowed in the exam room "for COVID" reasons (in September of 2023). I told the doctor that I had level 3 masks in the car and since I worked at the hospital I would be happy to wear one, but no was still the answer. Regretfully I went through with this anyway because my cat was clearly suffering. I listened to him crying in the exam room and felt helpless listening from the waiting area, a cat who almost never cried over anything and I feel like he may have been mishandled in some way - but I will never know. Dr. gave my cat a tranquilizer first, which was nice, and returned him to me and my son for a few minutes while that took effect. My cat did eventually doze off from that ten minutes later, at which point Dr. took him behind the partition again and gave him the lethal dose. I guess ? my cat slept through that - again, I have no way of knowing. This experience keeps me awake at night. My suggestion - if you are looking for a humane end-of-life solution for a pet you adore, please go somewhere else. Your pet deserves to be loved by you at the end and I feel that my cat did not get the tenderness he was due at this office.

I really wanted to have a good experience at this place because my husband and I are belmar locals however it was just as the other negative reviews explained. The office set up is unorganized and anxiety provoking from the start. The only person working is the vet himself which was fine however due to “COVID” you are not allowed in the exam room. As my dog listens and commands when I am in her presence I was pushed away when wanting to go in with her. I had to listen has she wept insanely and I felt hopeless that I couldn’t do anything to comfort her or even know what is going on. My partner is a healthcare provider for humans and asked the diagnosis of my dogs foot and he said “I don’t know what it is and anyone who tells you they know is lying.” I am still shaking from the experience 10 hours later. I thought this was going to be a great experience however it was one of the worst vets I have EVER been to and I have had dogs for 20 years. The only thing going for this place is that is cheaper than most..you get what you pay for I guess. I will not be back.

Dr. Kass was very experienced and knowledgeable and friendly and professional. He took care of my 12 year old cat when she stopped eating and had pain while using the litter box. He was thorough in checking her. I am following his instructions regarding her care. I am very pleased with all he did. I would Highly recommend Dr. Kass and All Paws Veterinary Hospital.

My sister had to have her dog out down, when he put dog down he brought out the dead dog no blanket over her not in a bag or box nothing just brought dog out flopping around dead. No bed side manners, no common decency for the trauma my sister just suffered. Never going back again and neither will any of my family or friends. And I didn't want to give any stars but couldn't submit comment without one.

I have been going to All Paws for years! Dr Kass is very knowledgeable and very careful with diagnosing! Office is not filled with dog food...toys and leashes for sale to add to your vet bill!! Very reasonably priced!

I'm sure this doctor was great back in the day, but I'm a bit skeptical of the way he does things. He performed a rectal exam on my kitten right in front of me, while I had to watch him man handle her with tools that I watched him pull out of a cup...tools that weren't wrapped in individual packaging and that did not appear sterile. He also informed me that what I brought her in for would go away in a few days...I waited these few days and brought her to another vet to only find out that she had bronchitis which spread to her lungs. He was only a few dollars cheaper than this place, for a basic check up. He was nice, but I had to wait ten minutes past my appointment time for him to unlock the building which I found unprofessional, as well on the unkempt condition of this vet office which made me feel uneasy from the get go. I feel terrible posting a negative review, but he misdiagnosed my kitten and doesn't seem to be up to date with modern veterinarian work.

Doctor is never able to help you with any records or any information that requires him to talk to anyone. Do you need a reference to adopt a pet? Well... don't even try it. Do you want to order any medication on the internet and need a prescription verification? Well... you are out of luck. This doctor will literally told me that he'll write one paper prescription but if he does, I was no longer allowed to bring my dog back again for any services. He is completely against any type of technology. No computer records AT ALL. Not even paper records are kept. He doesn't have a secretary or vet assistant so he does it all himself and he gets very cranky when he gets overwhelmed. He is nice to the pets and seems knowledgeable but unless you are planning to ONLY speak to him in person, forget about it. And you better make it quick, because he doesn't have neither time nor patience to answer any questions. Therefore, customer service SUCKS!
