The ShopRite on Washington Street in Belleville, NJ needs a recourse on how to treat their customers and their produce quality. Grapes, strawberries, cherries, tomatoes, pineapples, bananas, & peaches all always have mold and nats on them. The manager is more concern with how many items you are checking out in self checkout and less on fresh produce money is being spent on. I will never buy another item from this store.

Generally this shoprite is very good. I come here for 90% of my grocery shopping and rarely have any issues. The store is easy to navigate and the staff is always friendly. If I have one complaint, it's that I can never buy avocados here. They are always super hard and somehow never ripen properly after I gamble and take some home. For the price that they are, I don't feel it's worth it, so I had to find somewhere else to buy avocados. But other than this, I'm happy with my experiences here.

I am always shopping at this location. It has been great so far The customer service is Amazing! I want to Thank Kelly and everyone who took there time to help me look for my Autistic sons special hammer. They really care about people at this ShopRite. Thank you so much for bringing a smile back to my Autistic son .

Very nice and clean shoprite. Only gets 4 stars because there's quite a few things that I've been getting at a nearby Shoprite for years that I can't seem to find in stock at this location.

Shoprite has been here about 5 years. Very clean and customer service is great. Good selection of food. Seafood is always fresh. Only thing missing is a butcher section. They do try to accommodate as much as possible in the meat section. Prices are good. Otherwise this shop-rite is great.

This ShopRite location is no better or worse than other locations. What keeps me coming back here is an employee named Marilyn. Everytime I've had the honor of her assistance, as a floor manager (I assume she is), customer service, and cashier, she has always been a pleasure. She is extremely personable, and has a pleasant sense of humor. Marilyn is the shining star of the Belleville ShopRite.

This supermarket is huge & the place to shop in this area. They have a big parking lot so no worries about parking. If you need to buy alcohol, the liquor store is attached to it. If you're hungry pizza hut is next store also. What more can you ask for?! Please shop here because you wont be disappointed!

The Shop From Home team is the BEST! I always picked up my groceries from them even before the pandemic. They have always been accurate, kind, helpful, and quick. Many thanks to Xoey, Carolyn, and the rest of the team for working so hard to make sure everyone gets what they need.

I ran out of produce and other perishable items and had to go grocery shopping for the first time in a couple of weeks because of Covid-19. I walk in and the first thing I notice are a few employees and the officer near the door and NO ONE IS WEARING MASKS. This is a pandemic. The employees should be wearing masks and they should not let ANYONE in the store who isn't wearing a mask. People are getting sick and dying. This is no joke, and at least half the people and NONE of the employees were wearing masks. Only a few customers had on gloves. A very pregnant woman walked by me with NO protection on. This is so irresponsible, both of ShopRite and other customers but ShopRite has the ability to enforce a "mask only" policy and they aren't. Seriously ShopRite, wake up and take some action.

My aunt and I stopped in a last week to pick up a few things. The store was well organized and employees were quite friendly. So much so I left the place inspired. People from NJ/NY get a bad wrap and this visit was proof that they are friendly. Prices here were ok, nothing stood out to me. But all and all a very nice store.

I've been on line at the deli for 45 minutes and meat pre- cut cold cuts display is empty. Manger keeps putting cheese in the display. Horrible horrible deli

Although I have a shoprite right now the street from my house I usually come here instead. Their veggie and fruit section is quite large and their seafood area is amazing. Also they have a lot of cashiers opened at once making it easier/faster to go in and out if your in a rush. Their parking lot is the only bad thing I can mention but keep in mind that they share it with a liquor store and Pizza Hut.

I'm really not too crazy about this ShopRite I've only been here about two times and it just seems like it's in the wrong neighborhood and everything is completely off the customer service and departments are really kind of strange and it doesn't have a very good neighborhood atmosphere It just looks shady to me

First time going to a ShopRite other then my local one and I must admit I was just as satisfied. Parking was of no difficulty. Parking was better then the one located in Kearny. We went on a Sunday late afternoon and stumbled upon front door parking. Carts were available and clean. Store employees were easy to find to ask for help. The store itself was smaller then I expected. To me it was smaller then the one in Kearny. Yet, is wasn't difficult to find what we needed. Aisle categories are at site and easy to navigate through the store. The lines were not packed at all. Loved that I didn't have to wait so long to check out. There's a bowling alley across the street. Therefore we first went bowling then did our usual family Sunday shopping.
