Went to Maria Dress Shop I had a last minute alterations that needed to be done. When I arrived she greeted me very friendly. I brought in three dresses for her to work on for me to make a decision on which one I would like the best. Maria did such excellent work on my dresses needless to say I love all three. Making a decision maybe be difficult on the dresses but as far as the work Maria has done it was efficient, professional and in a timely manner. Her prices are more than fair and I will continue to take my business to her shop. Thank you Maria!

Had my wedding dress hemmed and added lace sleeves because it was strapless. She did an amazing job. My mother gets all of her dresses altered here too and loves it.

Maria does a very good job. I have now had her alter two dresses and she did a good job on both, She's quick too, about a week or less on turnaround.. My only reasons for knocking one star off is Maria advertises [on her storefront] to accept all forms of card payments, but every time I have come in, she says her payment system is down/closed. I did not have cash on me during my last visit and she requested I pay using Zelle (she was resistant to letting me take my finished dress because payment wasn't appearing under her account - asked me to come back - even when I tried to explain that Zelle says it may take 1-3 business days to show under her account, after showing her proof of payment. After some back and forth, she finally let me take my dress home). Maria, please fix your payment system!

I'm not entirely sure why this is being reported closed, but Maria's is open, she just doesn't stick to her advertised business hours. For example, I went to have my dress altered last week (Tuesday I think), her door signage says she's open at 9 am, but she wasn't there. I called the number listed on the door (4 times) she answered and said she stepped out to go to the bank and would be back "soon". I took my first star off for this. I took another star off because of language and payment issues. The store advertises to accept all forms of major card payments, but in the 4 instances I have been here, she says her payment system is down. I don't carry cash, even less often during this current pandemic, and she had me pay with Zelle instead. After some back and forth between us because she wasn't seeing my payment transaction under her account (despite me showing proof of payment sent), and wasn't understanding when I explained from Zelle's FAQ page, that payments may take 1-3 business days before they show under her account. She initially didn't want to give me my finished dress, but I finally convinced her saying that if payment didn't show by the third day then to call me so she can charge my credit card. All in all, while Maria does a good job with alterations, the customer service element is lacking.

Maria is an excellent and very kind seamstress and did a fabulous job on an evening dress for me, going the extra mile to make additional suggestions in order to have a nicer fit. I would go to her anytime..

Very expensive but I didn’t mind paying since I needed my dress the same week. When I went to pick up the dress I noticed it was still a little too long but I didn’t have time to wait for her to fix it. Needless to say, the next day I wore it to a wedding and the stitching started to come out at the bottom of the dress!!! Definitely will be going somewhere else from now on!

Took my wedding dress 3 weeks before got it on time for the final fitting, had it trimmed and added a belt and it was beautifully done! Couldn't be happier!
