I’ve been a patient of Dr Pecaro before MMA was established. I’ve watched the practice grow from the onset. I cant say enough good things about MMA and what it has grown into the past 20+ years. From Dr Pecaro, Dr Nambiar, Dr Tawde and the super efficient staff I’ve always felt secure, safe and well taken care of! You cant go wrong with this 5+ Star establishment.

This practice and the physicians/staff are wonderful. Myself and my family have been patients of Dr. Pecora’s for years and can confidently state that everyone is wonderful! The care is phenomenal - not just Dr. Pecora but the other physicians and NP - and they are accommodating and caring. The practitioners listen to you and I have never once felt that my concerns were being dismissed.

I am unfortunately giving Montgomery Medical 1 star. I have been a patient of Dr. Pecora for 10 years without issue. Today I had a Physical and I was driving over 30 minutes to get to the office. I gave them a courtesy call to inform them I was running about 15 mins late. I was told that they had to rebook my appointment. I explained that I was barely 10 mins away, and had been driving for 30 mins, and I asked if I can come in and at a minimum see the Phlebotomist since I had fasted until 2:30PM. They still refused to oblige. I told them I usually wait to see the doctor, and why would these few minutes make a difference to see the Phlebotomist at a minimum. However they would not allow me that courtesy.I like Dr. Pecora, and have been his patient for 10 years, but after driving 30 mins to my appointment and be turned back, even when I called to give them a courtesy notification that I was running late, and even my asking to see the Phlebotomist alone is a little over arrogant. I felt that after 10 years I should have earned the currency to at least be afforded that courtesy.I unfortunately will be requesting my medical records be moved to a new Physician.

I had been with them for about 10 years. Went for a regular thyroid test, a couple of months later I get a lab bill of $135.21. They changed labs and did not bother to inform me they were using an out network lab. When I called their office at first they were so rude. Out of decency they could have informed every patient via email of this change. If I could give out a -5 rating I would.

I completely agree with people who gave 1-2 stars. The front desk lady was rude and super impatient. I wonder whether the owner knows that because the front desk could extremely affect the business.

For two years I've been experiencing chronic lower left abdominal pain. Recently after two emergency colonoscopies, which removed precancerous polyps, the pain in that region became acute. I saw Dr. Tawde at MMA. She didn't know what to do. She referred me to another specialist. After appointments, an ER visit. XRays, CTscans, blood panels, and specialist appointments, two upcoming MRIs, we are getting closer to the answer. The front desk staff is abusive. I just got hung up on. The staff member said that I needed to pick which doctor I "wanted to work with on this-- is it this one or that one. You need to pick one." (Huh?) I said, "That doesn't make sense. Dr. Tawde is my PC, the other doctor is my specialist helping to..." the staff on phone interrupted and said, "Don't interrupt me. You should've picked one." I tried to explain, "I'm in the middle of a diagnosis. I'm just supposed to know I need to pick one doctor out of five? That doesn't make sense. Dr. Tawde is my PC, she is the hub, the one keeping track of----" The admin tersely interrupted me, "Yes, yes you are. Pick one!" I tried to respond. She spoke over me and said, "if you're going to interrupt me I'm hanging up the phone." I said, "I need your help." She spoke over me again, so I repeated myself to get her to stop talking over me, "I need your help. I need your help." She then said, "I'm hanging up on you." **Click**What this woman didn't hear was the following:"""I've never gone through cancer screening process before. I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing or not doing. My PCP referred me to one specialist, and that specialist recommended I reach out to other specialists. My PCP has me scheduled to meet with her between visits with specialists so she can provide input-- that's her job. So we can collectively determine my diagnosis. I have to deal with more specialists. If I don't have a PCP who oversees this process, something is going to get missed. I'm scared. This isn't a matter of picking and choosing one doctor or another. In the meantime, I'm in pain. I'm doing everything I can. And you've just told me I'm not supposed to contact my PCP anymore? And that I have to pick between her and one of my specialist doctors when none of these doctor know what my underlying medical issue(s) is/are?"""I called back. She didn't say hello. She said, "Yes." And then repeatedly said the word, "yes." Over and over again, then when I began speaking, she said, "yes" over everything I was saying. She didn't listen. She exasperatedly said, "Pick a doctor." I said, "I need your help, and you're not listening. "She said, "I'm trying to help."I said, "You're not listening. You're talking over me. You don't understand what I need. I need my doctor."She said, "you need to pick."I said, "You need to find another line of work."She started to berrate me, and I mimicked her earlier tone, and said while she was mid-insult, "I'm hanging up now."***Click***To further highlight the apathy and incompetence::::My phone call was a return call.I was returning an MMA call to me telling me to get a CTscan-- which I already got 2 weeks ago. And I notified them at that time that I had a CTscan, and that the results were available. This woman on the phone didn't review anything, she just called telling me to get a CTscan and she clearly didn't like being corrected or informed that it was already done. -- It's my health, not her's. I have a right to clarify the care I've received and the care I need!I already have an MRI scheduled for the 11th.Again, I didn't initiate this call. An apathetic, lackluster, admin staff member did.--Montgomery Medical Associates did. What I do not need, as a pati

This place used to be best! Quality went way down. Doctors are not attentive yet not available most times and nurse would see you instead. Also, if I am sick nobody is able to see me same they they refer you to go to ER!!Do you need physical? Yeap, 3 months later. They overbook so much and cant get it done.I used to vouch for them but they are overcapacity and simply put overfed.Read it for face value, do you, you have been warned!

Receptionists are extremely rude and inconsiderate. They do not care for their patients at all especially when they are sick and actually need their help. Terrible!

I am a patient at this medical practice and i tested positive for covid. I called to ask about getting advice about paxlovid and was told that they didn’t have any video appointments so i should go to urgent care. They also said that none of the physicians could speak with me. What is the point of being a patient at a practice if they can’t provide assistance in an emergency? I wasn’t particularly impressed with the care I received there previously and will be going somewhere else for my medical needs in the future.

No issue with the doctors but the receptionists are very rude. The office doesn't send appointment confirmation emails or texts. They just a call the day before which is very inconvenient when you plan appointments in advance. It's best to have an email to text to reference to make sure it gets on the calendar as we all have busy lives and this type of technology is very simple. When I called to confirm the date and time of my upcoming appointment the receptionist was very rude, rushed me off the phone, was not thorough, and seemed very personally upset with my suggestion for email confirmations. I'm a very kind person and have never had an issue giving a suggestion before.

I was seen today by the Nurse Practitioner. She and the rest of the staff were cheerful, attentive and thorough. Recommend highly.

Terrible experience with them; they left me waiting for for an hour for a simple annual medical check up; on top of that, they gave the wrong instructions to the laboratory for my blood test; at the end I need to pay extra money which I never paid before on previous medical check ups with them. When the problem came up, they could not resolve it properly and they were rude with me and my family. I have been going there for the last five years for annual medical check ups, but will never go back again and will find another place for sure. Do not recommend this place.

Can’t say enough about how great the doctors and staff are. It’s a family practice that takes a personal interest in your health and well being. I have been a patient for years and have recommended others who feel the same way.
