I have moved several times and my partner picked this company. We moved a 2 br apartment 3 miles down the road and it was supposed to take 4 hours it was substantially longer not because of our wrongdoing but because the movers were slow as turtles and also stopped for a break at Wawa. Not only did they take forever but they also insulted my partner and I and made fun of my partner for being gay. It's 2020, you don't have to like our sexual orientation or approve we hired you to move our things and UNPROFESSIONAL doesn't describe how we were treated. On top of all this, we had to move because of our situation and had painters at our house which wasn't ideal but the painters worked around everything as Covid pushed things in ways we didn't anticipate. These movers were down right nasty and when my partner complained by calling the number he was told he would receive a call back and that never happened. They also damaged some of our things and put a gash in our front door. I have kept quiet because moving is stressful and I didn't want to revisit the awful experience. This company from the movers to whoever was in charge was absolutely horrific. I will always tell people how awful this was because no one even tried to make it right. We also paid hundreds more because of how long they took. A year prior, with a different company I paid less money to move the same things from over an hour and a half away to Brick. There is no way in my mind that would justify how a move from 1.5 hours away with the same things took about the same time and cost less. Also, on the way out the mover was nice enough to urinate all over our brand new bathroom. Do not hire this company, I'll be filing a BBB complaint as well.

never again!!!! i was quoted less than 1000.00 by larry. i moved 2 miles away from a 2 bdrm house. no dining room furniture, no basement, no attic. it took them 6 hours!! i had to pay an additional 460.oo. larry told me , i was saving you money. it took them one hour to take apart my daughter's bed...........wtf. be careful when quoted. it was supposed to be 5 hours. when i looked closer to the paperwork, a 4 was scribbled over the 5. yes they pulled a fast one. i will file a complaint with bbb and consumer affairs. dont do business with this company.

After hearing horror stories about moving companies I was a little apprehensive when I started looking. I found the Moving Guys by passing their Beachwood store and also reading a review on Yelp. I was moving from a house to a condo and really only needed the large stuff moved with some boxes and appliances. I called, left a message and got a prompt call back scheduling a meeting and a walk through. The meeting went as schedule, I was provided with all the documentation required by the state and also an price list of any packing items that I might need. The quote was for a flat rate move which I was very happy with. Again hearing horror stories of estimates and then "extras" being added on had me being cautious. I wasn't sure when I was going to move and when I did call to check availability for a Saturday and they were available and happy to accommodate on a weekend. A few days before the move I received a call to confirm everything and was provided with an approx time they would be arriving. Saturday morning they arrived 15 min early, all 3 of the employees were very pleasant, introduced themselves and did a walk through on what was moving. They arrived at the house and were heading out to the new place an hour later, not slowing these guys down. Everything was wrapped that needed it and moved with care. Total move time from arrival to leaving my new place was 3 hours, that included taking my IKEA bed apart and putting it and some other furniture back together. Cannot recommend them enough, very professional company.

Absolutely the BEST out there. I called at least 10 companies before using this company. I was very nervous as I have expensive items and we moved into brand new construction. The guys were beyond perfect. Don't even bother looking at other companies. All four of the guys were truly fantastic.
