The aesthetic of this shopping center is very pleasant and caters to the beachy feeling of the shore. It's a nice commercial staple in Beach Haven, and despite the 'uselessness' of the shops, it's hard to not find something to buy here. There's some clothing stores, jewelry shops, and plenty of candy and ice cream parlors. Everything is kitschy and touristy, but ultimately it's fun if nothing else. If you're in the area and looking for a souvenir, or just something to do, it's worth a look. Just don't expect great bargains or one-of-a-kind items.

What a unique place! We visited while staying on the island for the weekend. We loved the atmosphere and all of the unique shops. The book shop, Ship Bottom Brewing, the dog shop, and others were fun to visit. The layout is interesting, so it's fun to explore and see what comes around the next corner. Recommended!

Love love love Tropics! Awesome store filled with Crocs, women’s clothing, and accessories. They have made me feel very safe shopping in the store during COVID-19. Also, one of the very few stores that allows try-ons! After trying clothes on, the employees sanitize the clothes with a high-powered steamer. Other stores should really consider this! I would definitely recommend shopping here.

I've enjoyed walking around these shops for 30 years or more. Yes we like going more off season because the crowds are gone but sometimes we they aren't bad on season this is not one of those times. CoVID is not keeping the kids away!! All the shops have the same tourist crap shirts and Knickknacks but I still like walking around. The shops are trying to do there best but just walking around shop to shop there is absolutely NO social distancing and barely anyone was wearing a mask. Big groups of kids are walking around all over the place only a few wearing masks. To be clear when I say kids they look to be ages 15 - 20. It's extremely hard to avoid them or walk around them, there where way to many to avoid. So we left and I would NOT go back until after this crap is over. If kids can hang out in (NOT wearing masks) big groups of 10 to 20 kids all summer long then why is there such concern with them going to school???? At least the schools will make them wear a mask while in class! A group is a group!

I went in this store with my two daughters yesterday (ages 13 and 5). The (presumably) owner (a middle aged lady) was very aggressive from the moment we entered but I just assumed it was her sales persona and she proceeded to follow us around as if we have an alternative agenda in her store. My daughters and I went upstairs and took a peek around and realizing the third floor was merely a massive assortment of CROCS went down to the bottom level. At this point the owner was talking to another customer, spotted us and told my oldest daughter to "please give me the doll you took". Um what?!? My oldest daughter didn't even look at dolls in her store let alone take one. The owner soon realized another girl in the store was playing with one of the dolls. For whatever reason it appeared the owner was assuming we entered her store to shop lift. My 13 year old was horribly embarrassed by the owners accusation and i was simply angered by the whole encounter in general. What a terrible way to run your store. Not to mention it was an unorganized disaster. We left without spending a penny and had our "Pretty Woman" moment going on to spend our money in other, far more welcoming stores in Schooners Warf.

So I went here during my vacation. My son is autistic and is 5. He loves Buzz lightyear and spotted a small toy with candy. (Picture included in my post) These are found at Walgreens for $1.89 I looked at the price and was floored. $10.79!!!Of course i know I didn't have to get it, but when you have a special needs child I overlook things like price. He loved it. Staff there didn't even crack a smile. I mean really. I also bought peanut clusters and almost broke my tooth eating one. I mean really. I would not go back.

it's always a happy place, shopping, eateries, water slides for the kids, mini golf, all at Fantasy Island where there are kiddie rides, & an arcade inside.

Great place to shop, dine, stroll around or hang out. Lots of things to do. Open late. Easy to get to by car, shuttle bus, bike or on foot. Relaxed but mostly upscale and well run.
