I just want to give a huge shout out to Tia in the pharmacy. She helped me navigate a really challenging situation, with an ill parent and a prescription, not coming through from the doctor. Her patience, calm nature, and ability to help problem resolve does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Tia, for all of your help. you are a great asset to the Walgreens team.

Before I begin this review let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone,so with that being said let's go!!..I picked Walgreens because I'm pretty familiar with their set up as far as their product selection and setup, I needed some passport photos so I could get a replacement passport done so this made my decision a lot easier to visit their location!. I asked the gentleman if they did passport photos just to confirm and he told me yes, so he took me over to the photo area and took my picture with a digital camera the uploaded them on the computer to have the picture processed and printed for purchase, so when I left and returned to to my mom's house I realized the pictures they sold me looked horrible and after checking the passport website I knew these photos would not be acceptable! So when I returned and showed another employee ( which seemed she was a manager by her uniform tag )those passport pictures she immediately said " who took those photos " because apparently to the eye she also knew they were done incorrectly! So she had another employee do them in which she advised him to make sure the blinds were closed! ( Obviously the other employee had no idea about the process of taking photos with the store window blinds up )! So when this employee took them the pictures came out clearer but had a blue line going across the top of one of the photos, and all he could say was I don't know why I came out like that! So once again the manager had to get involved, so to try to make a long story short the manager ended up doing the passport photos and they came out much better and provided the passport photo cover to house the photos in! I hope this location can train their employees on how to take accurate and professional passport photos so no other customers have to go through what I did just to get some passport photos taken!!.Let me add that when I took these passport photos to the passport agency to get another passport processed because I misplaced my other one,the NY passport agency employee at the window told me that the photos I presented to her that I purchased from this Walgreens location were not acceptable because the photos were taken too close to my face and did not meet the criteria of the NY passport, so I'm out of about $17 because this particular Walgreens location has employees who don't know how to take acceptable passport photos!!.. Never again, stay away from here in regards to passport photos!!..

I had a 4:30 PM appointment yesterday for a covid test. Took the test, handed it in, was told it would be two hours for the rapid NAAT test. No problem.Three hours go by, four hours, still no results. I call and get put into automated hell where it's not giving me the options that I need. I get someone who tells me I have to call the main number once again and ask for the pharmacy. I do, but it transfers me to some national line and after a long wait I get told I have to call the local Walgreen's again. I did! Their system transferred me out.I finally, after three tries, get through to a pharmacist at this location. She says they'll print it out for me and I can pick it up in the morning, but then said I should send someone else because I'm positive. WTF?I repeated the test at another pharmacy (not Walgreens), got my results in an hour, and I am negative. I have no idea what the heck is going on with this location but I won't be back.

Unprofessional pharmacy staff. Automatic refill is unreliable and I have had to go without my medicine for days because of lapses in the system. I am given a hard time if I ask for an accommodation such as asking for liquid for some medicines instead of pills, I have been lied to and the pharmacy lied to my doctor saying insurance wouldn't cover my medicine anymore because they didn't want to admit they didn't have it in stock. One pharmacist took it upon herself to not fill my relative's diabetes medication for 20 days because the pharmacist thought it was too expensive but it was a necessary medicine that we had been paying for. Unprofessional unethical unreliable liars!!!!! So many issues with them over time.

This one of the smallest Walgreens I've been in. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. But the place was clean. I was extremely surprised that they had Oil Olay and Dove soap and bath wash locked in cabinet. This was the first place I have seen this. 3ven if it is because of the area. That only tells me I need not be 8n this area. It also is the only Walgreen I been in that has two live people at the cashier so that was a plus and no wait time. Which is very important If in the area and early for my event like today. I stop in but would be mindful of my surroundings

This location of Walgreens in Bayonne is really nice. The building is fairly new and the inside is nice and clean. There is a large parking lot here, which makes things super convenient for drivers wanting to shop here. Once inside, everything is setup nicely. The aisles are well labeled and the cashier checkout system is smooth. Walgreens has a great pharmacy section too, including a drive through pharmacy at this location. Looking for some quick snacks, or drinks, or toilet paper/ paper towels / cleaning supplies; Walgreens has you covered as they offer everything for you to pick up in one trip.

This Walgreens is clean and the people who work at the pharmacy are super nice. They typically have good specials going on. Never have had a problem here.

I'm giving you this place a one-star review. Now to be fair the staff is very nice, the store is very clean, and they keep it very well stocked for the most part. So why the one-star review you ask? The parking lot. Not so much how dirty it is around the perimeter but rather that they have allowed people to Panhandle in the parking lot. This is extremely disconcerting and unsafe. Is one heavy set lady who is perpetually parked on one of the benches directly watching people come out as they Count Their change and she comes up with all kinds of ridiculous stories day and night to ask you for your change this is very very very annoying she even goes as far as asking people walking down the street for change she has a wonderful vantage point to see customers coming in and out of the store and people walking down the street she doesn't even bother to get up. Yeah she has convincing bologna stories but it's still a major annoyance. That bench is on the store's property and they have the power to remove her but they do not. If she is not there then I go into the store if I see her there I'll walk over to Rite Aid or some other store to make my purchase. If they went to get a higher rating they just remove her. That's it call the cops have her taken away as a vagrant.

1:41pm 10/13/18 SATURDAY --------------- I get a recorded call saying my medicine is ready When I called the store I was told it's a call from Corp Medicine was ready YESTERDAY but Cause of Corporation's mess up I have to wait 3 days for delivery and delivery STARTS at 11:00AM Y'all are starting to make me Angry !!!! AND there is broken glass in Drive Threw For one Month now I told them a month ago When my wife and I seen it W.T.F. ?!?!?! CLEAN UP PARKING LOT TOO !!!!!
