There is no comparison to buying appliances from Triangle TV & Appliances to buying appliances at chain stores. Unlike Dave at Triangle, the sales representatives at chain stores are not trained at all in knowing anything about the product they are trying to make a sale on. Instead, they refer to their phones to get the information about the product and then give it to the buyer. On the other hand, Dave is extremely knowledgeable about appliances that he sells. Dave is willing to help his clients until they are satisfied. I purchased a washing machine from him, and I realized after it had been delivered that I preferred a different machine. With no hesitation, Dave ordered the one I preferred, picked up the one that I received, and delivered the new one. Dave will go the extra mile to have his customers happy with what they buy from him. I am very pleased with the washer and air conditioner that I purchased from him. I have had so many problems with appliances that I bought at chain stores. So much so that my one- year-old oven emitted high levels of carbon monoxide. Appliances where you can trust the merchant and feel confident about the products that you buy. It’s a community business that has the personal touch!

I buy all my appliances from Dave,I've never had a problem or complaint. My air conditioner stopped working on a hot scorching day. Dave, arranged to have a new one installed the next day.He is an amazing knowledgeable, great, dependable, honest business man.Thank you Dave. Also, his installers are professional, courteous and very neat.

Rip Off Scam artists-STAY AWAY!
I bought an air conditioner for $880, it was too big, so I returned it for a smaller one priced at $499 and Dave the owner refused to give me the cost difference! The place is overpriced and reeks of cigarettes~go to lowes or home depot. Youve been warned!

Sold me a refrigerator that doesn’t work November 6,2023 I called in a couple days after receiving the refrigerator it’s been about four weeks I have a refrigerator that don’t work a one year old that I have to keep spending money on fresh milk and ordering out everyday. They told me to call a person to repair its going on three weeks still waiting on them to receive parts, I asked them can I just get a new refrigerator and give this one back and apparently they want me to wait until the technician fixes the issues and if they can’t after three home visits they will offer a new one. This is ridiculous, you would think since they sold me a fridgadair that don’t function they would just replace it with a new one. The fridge was 745.00 and I spent a lot more on take out wish I would have went somewhere else smh DO NOT RECOMMEND kd technician in Jersey city sucks as well…Wondering if they actually sell new appliances or are they used. Smh

So... our fridge stopped working and hubby is in the Netherlands. Total panic. Hubby said in our community Facebook group people were recommending Dave and son at Triangle, and boy did they deliver! They even had a cabinet guy come over to shave a cabinet opening so we could get a taller fridge. If you're part of a local community with an association, they may even already have a generic COI (certificate of insurance) on file like they did for us, definitely on the ball.

Had a great experience with Dave & Alex at Triangle. Our A/C died after 20 years. Dave was able to lookup the unit, offer some options and help us get a new one installed quickly. So much more knowledge and service than a big box store.

My Wife called Triangle TV today because we wanted to purchase a friedrich 14,000 btu portable air conditioner. The owner said "I have it here" so I drove to Bayonne to purchase the AC. When I arrived, the owner showed me a Friedrich AC portable 12,000 btu,so I told him this is not a friedrich AC portable 14,000 btu than he said thats in Europe. I looked up the model number online and the AC i purchased was a Friedrich AC portable 12,000 btu "not want i wanted" so the Owner lied to sell the AC. I check the receipt for his return policy and it does say anything about returns I will be returning this unit back and getting my money. "I will never shop there again beware"

I am unable to use this business for my Freidrich window AC repair because they don't service my area (and apparently neither does anyone else). After spending hours trying to get service from Freidrich, HVAC people and "authorized dealers", the people at Triangle took time over the phone to talk me through some steps that might help. They were the only people who were helpful, straightforward and not dismissive (including Freidrich, who only gave me lip service). While I can't comment on Triangle's actual work, I suspect it's good given the level of service I received "for free". I will keep them in mind when I need a new AC - and I suggest they are at least worth speaking to for your own needs. Thank you Triangle!

Dave and Alex are a real pleasure to deal with. I brought in my 24,000 BTU AC for a cord replacement and they did a great job. Afterwards, I was having trouble getting the AC to cool properly and they patiently walked me through adjusting the unit. You don't run into people like this too often. Looking forward to working with them again!
