until I left Bayonne in 1960 regularly attended Mass. Remember that all the Priests there were holy men that gave wonderful spiritual direction. The Church was alway packed with parishioners for Sunday Masses. Also the Church was staffed with sisters that provided excellent Catechism instruction for Holy Communion.
