Great place the staff are super friendly and chill. I just rented a board and the waves were to big and they gave me a full refund. They have rental boards, wetsuits and a surf shop with anything you need.
Half day board-$25
Half day wetsuit-$15

I see now why this place gets five stars. Eric, the owner, is a straight shooter if I've ever met one. Since I live hundreds of miles away, leaving my board with him was a matter of trust and he came through with flying colors . A 'dyed in the wool ' surfer, you won't find a better man.

Very nice clothing selection, some basic sweatshirt tees etc and had a nice section in the back for surfboards but I have no idea how to surf so I couldn't tell you much. Everything had a good price and the guy in there was super friendly.

Was in quarantine at friends house in Bay Head starting Thursday 12/23 with a positive covid test and still had a few to shop for, especially the great family that insisted I go to their house versus a hotel as it was unoccupied. I called Beach House Boardshop as I was in there late summer and it's about the coolest store ever. I called and Eric picked up and said they close at 2:00 (it was 12:55) - I explained I can't come in, had their site up and can he help me get 6-7 items for gifts. As expected, the store had been wiped out of inventory- Eric spent the next 45 minutes on the phone with me as I scoped on-line as he went through the racks to see what they had left. At 1:50, I pulled up outside the store and Eric put my bag of goodies on the step, waved with a smile and got out of my car with everything I needed. Customer service is dead right now and honestly have never had someone go out of their way while helping customers and working the register, by themselves, to go the extra mile vs 10 miles. I just unpacked the bag of items and they are absolutely fantastic. Eric, I thank you huge -when out of quarantine, my wife, kids and the family that allowed me to stay in Bay Head will all have rockin cool sht from your store. XO brother-

Upscale shore town sandwiched between the beautiful Barnegat Bay and the mighty Atlantic Ocean. The town has a gorgeous "Ivy League" look with many homes dating back to the 1800s. A must see is definitely East Avenue. It's the town's most famous street, and for good reason. Walking or biking down this 1.8 mile stretch, you get to see some of the most gorgeous estates on the east coast, perched high among the sand dunes. And get a glimpse into how the 1% lives. This town is an absolute gem. The only thing to know is that they don't like outsiders, especially not teenagers or families. So if you're looking for a fun day at the beach, look elsewhere. One thing to remember: This a no-nonsense town, and the locals WILL NOT HESITATE to call the police on you, so be respectful!

What a great find! The day I was there they were doing a board swap - so fabulous! I went here to look for a Bay Head sweatshirt and I found one that I liked. Crew neck and slightly large so I can wear tees underneaths Also, when you check in on Yelp, you get 20% off! The front desk wasn't aware of it, but they took it! Yang was wonderful! I loved all the boards and all of the other paraphernalia they had around the store. Very low key and very friendly. How nice was that! So delighted that I found this store!

I had a great experience at Beach House as they were prepared to get me ready to hit the waves as a beginner. I am not only new to surfing but also to the area. They gave me all kinds of info and advice and really cared about my new hobby. Sam was amazing to work with as all the staff was kind and friendly. Great boards, merch and surf gear!

Don’t waste your time or money my family have been too many beaches in New Jersey and this is the worst. The sand is rough it was packed and we never seen so many dead crabs on a beach. No bathroom or shower and good luck finding a parking spot and the place you buy the day pass. Our children were excited to find sea glass did not find one piece. The town isn’t even nice. We have definitely found beaches with better shells and lot more the most we found was small clam shells around all the dead crabs and clear sticky something.

We discovered this section of the NJ shore after spending weekend, weekdays and days everywhere in between. The beaches are full of families, couples and singles that grew up in this gem of a town. Love the beach here and spend countless hours watching the surfers and sun worshipers that love it too.

Eric is the best. Nothing like a hometown shop with great people and good vibes all year long!
