My Pitbull, Milo, became ill a few years ago while I was seeing another veterinarian. After his Cushing’s disease was unfortunately missed, I brought him to AAH for a second opinion. Dr. Pascucci carefully reviewed his results, ordered additional testing right away, and quickly diagnosed Milo and started him on the medication he needed.

Dr. Pascucci and the entire staff at AAH did an incredible job managing Milo’s Cushing’s disease over the years, ensuring he was always on the correct dosage and received all necessary monitoring and testing. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine care made a tremendous difference in Milo’s quality of life.

Sadly, Milo passed away last month. During such a difficult time, Dr. Pascucci, Joey, Dr. Stockmal and everyone at AAH were unbelievably kind and supportive. Dr. Pascucci even called me a few days after Milo passed and Dr. Stockmal sent a handwritten note, which meant more to me than I can express.

“I have been going to Plainfield Animal Hospital for years. I had a cat that needed to be put down. A very hard decision for me to make. When I called my vet on a Wednesday the woman told me she couldn't give an appointment til Friday. This was so unacceptable. They wanted my cat to suffer for two days. We usually see Dr Cuevas who is amazing but the other vets and techs are great as well. They really listen to your concerns and don’t rush you out. Not the least expensive but I don’t mind paying for great care for my kitties. And having an appointment on (or around) Valentines Day was a merry plus! “Dr. Shendell and her team always go above and beyond for our fur babies. We have been through atleast four vets before we came across Dr. Shendell & Dr. Weltner. Both are great, kind and caring veterinarians! My wife and I are both nurses and let me tell you, these guys are the best that we've been to in Jersey so far (location wise). Dr. Shendell and Dr. Mooney did surgery twice on my 21 year old alien baby (Biff). They gave us an extension with him for which I am forever grateful. DO NOT second guess yourself or the people here! It would have been costly and very stressful for our dog to undergo testing, so Dr. Jenny, taking into consideration her medical condition and age, took a less aggressive approach that was more comfortable for us, and especially for Bella. “Absolutely fantastic experience for an emergency visit. One of my dogs had a mysterious rash & was biting & scratching himself raw. Regular vet could not make time & said about 2wks for appt, ER vet said to come & check in but then said I had to wait in car & they would call in 4-5hrs. I called Washington Street Veterinary & they were kind enough to see my dog within the hour, efficiently diagnosed & treated for allergic reaction. They gave me meds & shampoo & scheduled a follow up for a week. Had a third follow up with shot again. Each visit was pleasant & efficient, so much so that while I really like my old vet that practice is too busy & hard to get appts & lots of waiting past appt time so I will make Washington Street my new animal care provider. Excellent service each visit”
