Incompetent, lazy, FedEx delivery drivers!

I would give them a 0 if that were an option. Barrington FedEx is the ONLY delivery service who has an issue reading where my packages should be delivered. Unfortunately for me Chewy uses FedEx as their delivery service, so I do not have another option but I have made notes and I even had chewy add to my delivery address “please put packages at back door” but they still refuse to do so. They will place 36lb packages against my door so I can’t even open them, they will take pictures of the delivery so the sign saying “please put packages at back door” isn’t visible in the picture. I even confronted one of the drivers and he told me “that’s not my problem that’s a request and I don’t have to do that”. Then I’ll watch them, on my cameras, use the street, where my back door is located, to make a U-Turn but they can’t deliver my package to the appropriate door. I called FedEx and I was told I should call them when my packages are being delivered to make sure they do it correctly. So basically I have to stop my job to their job for them, absolutely not. Then I was told to make a sign and I laughed because they don’t read the signs either. I’m honestly thinking that the drivers working at the Barrington FedEx location are not required to know how to read and all lazy because that is the only explanation that makes sense to me. I have no issues with Amazon, they even walk to the back door if they arrive at the front and UPS who even rings the doorbell to notify me that my packages have arrived. FedEx really needs to step up their delivery game but I guess when no one disciplines them for not doing their job there’s no motivation to actually be a good worker.

Truly wish this could be a zero. Gave them the benefit of the doubt…i have a long driveway. But UPS and USPS have no issues driving down and leaving my packages in a convenient space. I have had multiple orders with alcohol delivered with fraudulent signatures and left by my mailbox. I have had packages throwing to the woods by my house. Now this time, my package was delivered with a photo of house that’s now even mine. Unfortunate that this has to be my local FedEx.

TWICE this place and it's criminal thief driver has STOLEN MY PACKAGES by taking "delivery pictures" at random addresses that ARENT MY HOUSE then stealing them. They belong IN JAIL

I just read all the reviews and I’m literally experiencing the same thing as everyone else. They lie and say that attempts have been made and I’m literally waiting hours upon hours for them dumb selves and I called and all they say is sorry we’ll make attempt again tomorrow. This is ridiculous and outright outrageous. This service is absolutely awful especially from this specific branch. I’m not surprised what I’ve read and it’s sad that I’m another person that has been done wrong. USE ANOTHER DELVIERY SERVICE BY GOD ALMIGHTY TAKE MY ADVICE.

FedEx left my package against the porch column. It's been raining all week. There's a covered porch but in their infinite wisdom they left it in the rain. Brilliant. I refused it.

On multiple occasions I’ve had packages show as delivered & went outside to my front door to no delivery and it’s almost impossible to get through to customer service that I didn’t receive it. The worst delivery service ever. If I could choose another carrier I would!! Fed❌❌❌

Package was said to be attempted delivery twice and was failed the first day there was no knock nor ring of doorbell, and there was somebody to receive the package waiting for it. A slip was left on the door on how to receive your package. On the next day, the FedEx driver never arrived to the address that the package was to be delivered at and a message was sent saying the attempt of delivery was failed again. We have cameras at our residence, so there was proof no FedEx driver attempted to deliver at the address given, so they went somewhere else obviously. Customer service was called both days and it was said by customer service that we are not allowed to pick up the package nor are we allowed to have the office number of the FedEx location in Barrington NJ. I looked on Google for the phone number of the office it was simply given and when I called the office the person that picked up said it is not true that you are not allowed to pick up your own package. So I went to pick up my package myself because I was no longer having FedEx handle my package back and forth with the possibility of damaging my device and say that attempted delivery was failed for a third time. I also noticed on the reviews of the Barrington NJ location that this is a frequented incident that the FedEx drivers do not knock or ring the doorbell so that’s why I’m giving one star Barrington to FedEx. I hope this really truly reaches the right person because you guys should be ashamed of yourself that you keep letting yourselves get these reviews and don’t get your workers in check do all of them decide not to properly knock or ring doorbells they don’t even give residents a chance and don’t know how to read addresses right. We customers do not pay for this kind of service.
