Moving into a new home, we wanted the duct work cleaned. Called to schedule and woman responded saying, first we had to schedule an estimate, then they email estimate, we approve it, then they schedule to do the work. What a bunch of boloney and time wasted. She did not seem too enthused over helping to expedite the job. So we move onto another well-known company that is eager to do the service.

HIGHLY recommend CarrFord! They came out as an emergency visit and ended up switching over our oil heating to gas. They were affordable, thorough, reliable and true professionals. They even installed some extra ducts did a top notch job making sure our new system would be efficient. Bob and Dave have been servicing my ac for about 10 years. Recently my home is up for sale and my hot water heater went. They told me it could be repaired with a new part. This was great because the heater was only 10 years old. Sadly the part they receive was wrong and no one had one. Luckily they had a 6 months old one in there warehouse. The installed it the same day and saved me over a $1000 dollars. They are so honest!Services: Install AC

I used Mr. Fords company and really wish I didn't. I hired him mid May and was promised installation by the end of June. I received a call from Mr. Ford mid June and he had a cancelation, but when I asked him if he had pulled a permit, he said "thats not how he does things". He said he would get a permit when the job was done. I told him we wanted a permit before he started and he was very angry and said I would now have to wait weeks for the job to be done. His company came out today, I will say his workers were very polite and professional. Mr. Ford only stayed on the job briefly. The job was done around 3:00 pm. I had to leave the same time as the workers. When I arrived home at 6 pm the air conditioner was making a really loud noise. I called Mr. Ford and explained the problem. He stated that there was nothing he could do till maybe Monday. He asked why I waited to call so long after the workers left. Mr. Ford, the job was done today and broke today, I'm not sure why you are trying to make this the consumers problem. Your company is 5 minutes from my home. There is a warranty on your work. A REAL professional would have come out tonight. In addition to that you added the cost of the permit onto the balance, which was not an estimate, so truly your intention was to never get a permit to begin with. SO DISAPPOINTED I should have given my business to a company way more professional.Service: Installation

CarrFord installed a complete HVAC replacement 2 years ago with a high efficiency heater and energy star air conditioning. The transformation in both heating and cooling was exceptional. During rising energy prices our costs have gone down. Bob is an extremely knowledgeable person in this industry and he and his team provided exceptional installation, service, and customer satisfaction. I just had the team from CarrFord out to replace the gas furnace and ac unit. Although it's too cold in Feb. to really try out the ac unit, but everything appears like they did a great job. Jose and his team were great to deal with during the installation. In a day when craftsmanship and attention to detail seems to be set aside in most companies, it is still very much alive in this business.It's said that how you do anything exemplified how you do everything. I offer the situation of a small baseboard electric heater we also had them install in a powder room that always had a heating issue. They took the time to consult with us for the exact placement of the baseboard unit. I would think that most installers would have just put it wherever they wanted, so I was very glad they were communicative and responsive.Service: Installation

CarrFord's entire team really knows what they're doing. Dave came out to for a minor emergency repair on our boiler. He was able to come out with very short notice and also came back to perform a full maintenance to make sure we were ready for the winter. Our two boilers are 30 years old and run great. I am well aware of the lack of reliability on new boilers, so while Dave could've tried to sell us a new high-efficiency system, he didn't. We also had CarrFord do a central A/C unit changeout this week. Bob, Jose, and Kevin did the cleanest install we could've asked for. They completed the entire changeout in a 3rd floor attic in 3 days, did a thorough duct cleaning, rebuilt some of the ductwork, and reconfigured the condensate drain system to work MUCH better than it did previously. These guys have highly extensive experience in their field and it shows in the quality of work that they do. Too many HVAC companies these days are only interested in selling you highly complex, high-efficiency systems that cost TONS of money upfront and tons more to repair once they're out of warranty. CarrFord is interested in selling you a quality system with low-complexity components so that the system keeps running with a minimal chance of breakdowns. That's what honesty and integrity look like in this industry. I highly recommend CarrFord for all HVAC calls around the Camden and Gloucester County areas!
