Abhorrent service experience at Sansone Toyota. This business should be a red flag to anyone considering coming in. Booked an appointment for a routine oil change and tire rotation.
1. Wait Time
3 hours in total. Wasn't quoted a wait time upfront. This is a 30-minute job, I know because I've done it myself at home. I come in and pay for the convenience. Seeing long wait times across multiple reviews, there's something happening internally here with scheduling, facilities, and/or staff.
2. Service Staff
The best way to describe it is that nobody seemed like they wanted to be there. After 2.5 hours of waiting, I was wandering around trying to figure out what was going on. The gentlemen I approached quickly brushed me off saying I had to wait for my service advisor to return to her station to get help.
Once I found her, apparently I'd been sent a text/email about additional service recommendations that they were waiting on my response for. I never received any such messages. We confirmed my phone number and email address when I arrived, so I don't know if this is a system failure or someone is being dishonest about sending the notification. Regardless, it shouldn't be on the customer to flag down their service advisor. I've used other Toyota service centers who have come and found me in the waiting room if there were any concerns or issues.
My service advisor was blunt / straightforward. She offered me a discount for the long wait time which I appreciate and am grateful for, hence why this isn't a 1-star review.
3. Waiting Area
A smaller point, but more effort could be put into the waiting area. Again, I've been to other Toyota service centers that have nicer accommodations. Coffee bar was very barebones.
4. (Likely) Fake Reviews
This should be the biggest red flag to anyone considering coming in. Of course as a random observer, I can't claim this with certainty. But it's EXTREMELY suspicious to see a constant feed of 5-star reviews with similar text content made by Google accounts with only 1 review. Instead of padding reviews, consider spending that time and money on improving your service.

I went in for an airbag recall they told me it would be maybe an hour and a half or maybe 2 hours if it needed a new airbag. They said they had the parts there if it needed a new airbag, I sat there for over 3 hours only be told that they didn't have the part. I wasted over 3 hours sitting there when somebody could have told me earlier on that they didn't have the part there. I had to go to the desk and inquire about why it was taking so long, nobody even came and told me what was going on. I don't even really want to go back there to get it done now

We put deposit on a used Toyota. The Toyota was not available and they cancelled. Charlie the Toyota sales manager never picks the call and voice mail is full. Promised me a refund but have not received a check 15 business days after they cancelled. It is so very frustrating.
I updated my review from 1 star to 3. After I finally got hold of Charlie on phone, he mailed me the check and I received it today. Would also thank the owner for personally monitoring the review and providing me an additional path if I had needed to take it.
I would just add perhaps a better streamlined process for refunds may help other customers like me who need their refundable deposit back.
