If I could give this zero stars I would. The hotel is dirty, smelly and dated. We were supposed to stay for two weeks over the holiday season. The first room we were given was questionable. It smelled, the rug was filthy and was dated. I unpacked and used the bathroom. The toilet wouldn't' flush. I called down to the desk and they said they couldn't fix it, I'd have to take another room. The second room was just as bad. The shade wouldn't roll up at all. I rolled it manually and the stench was horrible. If it wasn't so late I would have left that night. We decided to leave in the morning. We went to bed and there was a sheet and empty duvet. They never put the blanket/comforter inside. I tried to call for a blanket and the phone didn't work. I used my cell phone to call. At this point of I was done. Dirty, dingy, smelly and broken are the adjectives I'd use. I couldn't get out of that place fast enough.

3 nights in a row our room was not taking care off starting with no fresh towels bed not made garbage not emptied they just ignored our room even after we complained the first night when we found the room not taken care off they told us that they spoke to room service manger 3 times and still NOTHING was done. will never stay there again.

Nice room and nice location but you can hear everything going on in the rooms next to you. Way too noisy! Had to turn on the tv to use as background noise to cover up the noise.

I enjoyed my recent stay Sept. 13th-15th. Spacious clean, room. The staff was great when I need to extend my stay by one day! Convenient location to EWR. I loved the king size bed but I didn't like the pillows. Too squishy for my taste but I made it work. The comforter on my bed was visibly worn and should have been thrown out.Nice bathroom! ? Lots of hot water! The Dove products was a nice touch too! ?I would stay here again!

Good place to stay. Our flight was cancelled, so we decided to stay here. Neat and clean room, beautiful pull & gym. We enjoyed our stay here.Food & drinks: Complete breakfast

Was stuck on a delayed flight in Newark. Booked late was able to get a room. Extremely clean. Great staff. Pancake machine was broken that day but the rest of breakfast was good. Hopefully never flying through Newark again but highly recommend this

This room was one of the best rooms I've had in a while. Star quality. I didn't expect it to be this amazing, but it was. The staff was great and so was the breakfast. I can't wait to come back.

Price was right, liked the idea of a pool but the smell of chlorine was WAY TOO MUCH! I appreciate a clean pool but have it ventilated PLEASE we couldn't enjoy it because the smell was really affecting us. Rooms are fine but beds are murder on your back! Breakfast was good.

Not the best location. On a main road.Pool has so much chlorine in it you can barely walk in th room.was in there for 10 mins before we had to leave due to it burning our eyes. Said pool was heated. It was not. Jacuzzi was room temp.Had coffee cups and coffee in the room , but no coffee maker. About an hour from New York with traffic.Overall the stay was fine.

This is probably one of the best hotels I've stayed at! They are SUPER clean, the rooms are AWSOME AND BIG AS WELL AS SO COMFY!! The BREAKFAST is probably the BEST free International BREAKFAST I'd EVER

Had a wonderful time for my son 10th Birthday. The only thing it wasn't no bedding for the pull out bed took a hour for it to come to the room. That's minor I forgot all about it after I saw the breakfast they had everything.

Cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a while. Comfy beds and pillows. Carpet in rooms leave something to be desired. Superior staff. Night and day shift incredibly friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay this weekend on this property. We were greeted by 2 amazing ladies (Annie & Angie) who made sure our family were comfortable and gave us a really nice room with great view. Breakfast is also very good quality. Overall Holiday Inn Express chain is my go to hotel but this hotel went above and beyond and looked like 5 star hotelvery good and nicely maintained

My stay was traumatizing and not what I expected. I checked in on Saturday April 2nd around 7pm. I was greeted by one of the front desk clerk. My check in was pretty easy. I got my my keys, went upstairs to my assigned room which was 323. I keyed in the door and the room was lovely. It was clean and spacious. I then left to run some errands for about an hour or two. Upon returning, I gathered my things to enjoy the rest of the night in my room. Also my phone was completely dead and I was by myself. When I got off the elevator I could hear music and voices. As I tried to use the room key, my key did not work. So I went straight to the front desk, to fix my room key. Upon returning to my room, I used my key and entered my room and I was given the show of a life time. There was a couple in my bed, who proceeded to scream WRONG ROOM. I closed the door immediately and ran downstairs. I told the front desk clerk that it was a couple in my room and my bed. He was in disbelief that someone was in there. I believe the coupled called the front desk and complained as well. The clerk was still in shock. The front desk clerk then explained to me that he mistakenly wrote the wrong room number down for the couple that was in my room, which didn't make sense because why did their key work for MY room. He then apologized, gave me another room, gift bags with a map, nutigrain bars, and water. But, I still felt uneasy. I checked in that room and it was clean and spacious just like the other one but I was missing a remote. Then front desk attendant did call and ask if the room was ok which was nice, I explained that I didn't have a remote. About 3 minutes later I got a knock with a remote. I tried to enjoy the rest of my night but however I'm a 20 something year old single women who felt uneasy and got very little rest. I checked out the next day. I thought it over and I thought I should let the managers know my experience. I called Monday to talk to the manager and she was not available. She returned my call but I was not able to answer, but she left a message. I called back on Tuesday and the front desk clerk said she "just stepped out." Since then I have not heard from the manager. At this point, I'm applaud and still shocked. Needless to say I won't be recommending this hotel to anyone else. I felt unsafe and I am contacting corporate about this matter. I'm giving them 1 star because the room was clean and spacious.
