Such a treasure, right on the beach. Lots of food options, and staff was very nice. Beach bar with Reggie. Great views for breakfast of the dunes and surf from L2.
Rooms: Small, but very updated with a great shower and sitting area. Can see the dunes from our balcony.
Noteworthy details: Shuttle is awesome for getting to either Stone Harbor or Avalon center.

Went to the restaurant with my family tonight and had our night ruined by the staff at the Windrift. The bartender took me and my cousins Id’s and said they were fake right after handing them over. I am 21 and my cousin is 25. We weren’t trying to make a scene so we politely asked them to hand us back out ids, but instead they went in the kitchen for about 5 minutes to “check with the security team.” I get it though since they just want to be sure. What made me write this review is the fact they BROKE MY ID. The bartender kept bending it and trying to pick the lamination off until he eventually did. The “security team” was a 19 year kid named Josh determined to ruin our night for no reason. We weren’t intoxicated, yelling, or ruining the experience of other customers there. The manager would talk to us and ghosted my phone call.
It’s really a shame that the Windrift has had such a fall from grace. I don’t normally write bad reviews for restaurants because I understand that things go wrong, but I am really fed up with this place. I went here a few weeks ago and they served me overpriced buffalo wings and forgot to put sauce on. They also forgot about our table for 45 minutes.
If you like rude staff and outrageous prices ($40 for 20 wings), then this is the perfect place for you :). If you want good food and amazing service go to Quahogs or Fred’s.

Absolutely perfect! We had an amazing stay. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated. The fact that the air conditioning wasn't locked allowed us to enjoy a wonderfully cool night's sleep. The customer service was exceptional. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable from check-in to check-out. The amenities were wonderful, and the location was incredibly convenient. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

We just finished an amazing weekend stay at Icona Windrift and I’m most impressed with the awesome staff and service. There was a small issue with our room which Jeff remedied before he even called to let me know about the issue. Matt, Will and Reece who helped us with valet were so friendly and quick to accommodate any requests. Jeff and the rest of the people at the front desk were also very happy, helpful and kind. Bartenders and servers were awesome as well. All around the staff are top knotch. Rooms are clean and the location is super convenient. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much Icona Windrift Team!

Pool is awesome and heated. Turkey Club was awesome for lunch with great waitress service. Buckets available for your favorite seltzers or beers. A shallow end of the pool for laying out. Plenty of chairs around the pool and overall good vibe. Beachfront is also a huge plus!

We had our beach-front wedding at the Windrift this past weekend and it far exceeded all of our expectations. Ronda and Jeff are incredible coordinators- they are professional, friendly, and go above and beyond. We had been planning our wedding for years and they have made us feel like we are their only wedding. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Incredible venue, hotel, and even better staff.

Newly refurbished 1960s oceanfront hotel. Second construction update in last 10 years. Price has risen considerably. May have out priced some of its former guests. Better value out of season. Hotel is beautiful and staff top notch. Quite an impressive hotel.Walkability: Easy walk to beach and restaurants across the street in the Icona HotelFood & drinks: Food very good and service friendly and very pleasant.

Property is well maintained and staff is friendly and helpful. Pool and beach are great. The restaurant was good too. We'll definitely go back again.
