“Harry’s Plumbing to the RESCUE! In a frantic on the night of July 2, guest in my home and no hot water. OMG! I Called the local gas company. The only appointment was July 3 8pm- 11pm.,Whaaaaat! I Called my Home Warranty Company, Water heater company since the product warranty is good until 2025, and local plumbing companies. If I would have made a claim or had a licensed plumber come out it would have been $100 out the gate., pay for replacement part and wait for it to arrive. Then, depending on the actual service pay $250 an hour minimum. Sheeeeeesh, so with July 4th approaching, I would not have hot water until Friday if i’m lucky. So what did I do? I watched a few you-tube clips. Called Harry’s Plumbing. Rushed across town before he closed at 12 noon. I cannot thank that gentleman enough for saving the day. The part worked. Talk about excitement when that burner ignited. I will keep my 8-11pm appointment nonetheless and enjoy my 4th of July luxuriating in a hot bubble bath. (Smiles) and a huge Thank you!”

Also if you live in this port richmond area nearby the store they are a great stop because they have stuff that can fit through tiny doorways and stairways and products that are easily taken apart if you want something bigger that can fit past these tiny spaces. “Mama Walton: "You take that 18-year-old Kenmore vacuum cleaner and you THROW it off the back porch!" John Boy: "But, Mama. Authorized Sew and Vac fixed it. It runs again." (With apologies to "The Homecoming" [1971]) Yes. Don't give up on that vacuum cleaner that has suddenly stopped working. Take it to A.S. & V. They will fix it, fix it right (other shops are NOT as competent) and clean it before returning it to you, and at a fair price. Super friendly staff who will give you honest opinions about vacuums and sewing machines. If they can fix your machine, they will. If it is beyond hope, they will honestly tell you that it must be given the Gang Gong, and will give their best advice on quality replacements (They do not sell machines that are simply cheap. Their recommended machines have value, because they work well and are durable. In the end, that saves you time and frustration, as Mama Walton was experiencing.). Among the few brands that meet their vacuum all-star criteria are Reccar (made in USA! USA! USA!), Miele (top-rated by CR and the NY Times Wirecutter Section) and Simplicity. Small problems with A.S.& V. are the sketchy parking in Collingswood (They will tell you to park RIGHT at the corner on Collings, where it meets Haddon Ave. Do not worry; you won't get a ticket.) and that they still insist that you wear a mask inside the store; they will provide one if you forget yours. Please: No more machines tossed into the yard. Take your "broken" vacuum or sewing machine to Authorized Sew and Vac. They will heal it. Listen to John Boy. (And yes, my 18-year-old Kenmore now cleans twice as well as before bringing it to A.S.&V.)”

“STILL SATISFIED!!About a year ago I purchased four new appliances from Andy Diamond at Albo’s in Maple Shade. During that time I was rehabbing from five major orthopedic surgeries and Andy was wonderful advising me and getting the appliances installed asap. Andy is a most cheerful, kind and caring man, in addition to being very knowledgeable. I think of him on a regular basis as he made my life so much easier and I love the choices he helped me make. Andy followed through after the purchase by getting me excellent delivery installers and making sure all aspects were accomplished. I continue to be a most satisfied customer!!”

“Traveled from Philly to this store since there are no longer any Oreck stores in my area. My approximately 20 year vacuum was now difficult to push & not picking up. The gentlemen came out from the back office immediately. Plugged in the vacuum and evaluated what needed to be done. Even though he had a pile of repairs ahead of me he said he would fix it right then. I didn't have to ask, he volunteered. I was so grateful that I didn't need to leave it and make another trip. This man showed what customer service is all about!! He was wonderful and took pride in his knowledge about the product. A rare find in today's world!”

Forgot to get his name unfortunately.The tool I was looking was not available according to their inventory. He then told me what other Home Depots had the tool. “I cannot say enough about how wonderful Home Depot in Berlin, New Jersey is. We just moved to south Jersey and are completely renovating a home. We have needed something from every department in this store. We have only ever been met with a smiling face and affable personality and I wanted to take a moment to thank a few individuals that have made myself or my family feel welcomed and provided extraordinary service in one way or another.* JERRY * from lumber was one of my first interactions at this location and he immediately jumped into conversation with me, making sure I had everything I needed, and really took the time to connect with me right off the bat. These interactions have continued everytime I come into this store, from remembering my name, what project I'm working on, or waving from across the store when he's helping another customer but sees me in the distance. Jerry is a 10/10 employee.* FRANCIS* is my favorite cashier that also shares the same affable personality as Jerry, is so easy to talk to, and makes my husband and I feel so appreciated everytime we interact with him. A fellow military vet, he really connected with our family. He is a genuinely kind soul and your store wouldn't be the same without him.*ROB* Aka Uncle Rob, is what my kids call him, in the paint department. Talk about someone who remembers everything about your last conversation and picks up right where you left off the next time he sees you! It was no wonder my kids latched on to him right away. He is so kind, and is genuinely invested in not only the projects we're completing, asking to see photos, but in my personal goals and aspirations. He's my own personal Home Depot cheerleader as I'm applying to medical school in the next few years! I came into the store one time to check-in and found Ethan on hold trying to find a solution to my issue. The timing was perfect and it shows that even when the customer isn't present, they are actively working on your behalf at the Berlin location!*XIOMARA* is an angel woman in customer service that makes me feel special every time she sees me. Between the sweet "hello, how are you!?", everytime I walk in, even when I'm not paying attention, to her bubbly personality that immediately puts me in a better mood, we LOVE her!!Home Depot, Berlin, you really know how to hire them! Truly the BEST team I've seen in one location in a LONG time. As a military spouse who travels the world and renovates every home she lives in, AND whose favorite store IS Home Depot, I've been to a lot of locations, and I've interacted with a lot of employees. “My dishwasher is old and leaks. I needed it diagnosed to see if it’s worth repair. Service was scheduled the very next day. After diagnosis and thoroughly showing me where the two problem areas were, I was provided quote for parts and labor which were fair price. However, I wanted the pricing of a new dishwasher, since I didn’t think the old machine may not be worth the investment in repair. It’s on its last leg.Appliance Pro (Glen) also worked with me to find new appliance and quote install pricing. Glen and Ricky came back the very next day to deliver and install new dishwasher and remove old one. Glen found me top of line dishwasher at incredibly below retail price ( I researched !) and efficiently and expertly installed. Very hard working, motivated and customer centric.I will use the company again and recommend to others !”

“So I went in to get a tv. I was met by Nick Weissmann. I was gonna get something cheap for my ps5. He talked about different tvs, brands and specs. I told him what I was looking for in size. I purchased an LG TV. It was a little more than I wanted but man, it was worth it.
