Dropped off a down winter jacket which was purchased new a few months ago but after a trip to Maine it was in need of dry cleaning. I received the jacket back from being dry cleaned with 7 holes inside the front interior lining of the coat that aligned with the exterior metal buttons. I returned to bring this to the attention of the owner, that a brand new jacket with zero holes prior to drop off was picked up with 7 holes and with down feathers coming out. They accepted zero accountability and offered no solution, told me this was the coats manufacture problem and to call them. Also to repair their damage to my property, they stated they were going to charge me a total of $38 to repair the holes in my jacket that was madeby their dry cleaning service. Completely unacceptable, I asked that they provide the repair for free since since it was a direct result of and by their business, this was met by offering me a discount to repair. Don’t waste your time or money supporting this business out of convince of the location

Do not go here. They charged me $84 to hem a dress "expedited"- 4 days. They told me to come at 4 pm and it wasn't ready - in fact dress was not pressed and looked worse than when I brought it in. Save yourself aggravation and have your mother in law do it,

I swear I never do this, but I felt I needed to share my experience here. I went to east pointe cleaners to have my bridesmaid dress hemmed. First and foremost, I was egregiously overcharged ($140 for a simple hemmed dress and shortening of straps). The straps were uneven, I had multiple marks on my dress, and the tailor lost the waist tie that was attached to the dress.I will never go back here.Service: Alterations

Family-owned business with excellent service! We have our work clothes cleaned here weekly and have had many repairs and alterations done over the years and have received excellent service here!

I have been going to Eastpointe for years. We use them frequently for dry cleaning, and they do a great job at this. Alterations & repairs less so but we use them very infrequently for those services. They are inexpensive, friendly and given that we are regulars, they know us by face and have our order ready before we even have a chance to say hello. Great service overall and we've been very happy.

Absolutely terrible service.
I brought many items there over the course of a year and then there was a problem with an order where they "lost" a dress of mine. It was a new and very expensive dress.
I asked them to look for it on a Monday and the man said he would call me with news. He never called and I had to go back again to ask.
When i went back they accepted zero accountability and offered no solution. I asked that they pay me the value of the dress or that my business with them was done.
They didn't say anything - starred at me blankly - and that was that.
I am no longer a customer - Service is everything to me and so is honestly.
