Absolutely disgusting first of all I never booked this tower yesterday afternoon when I was on the phone which I paid for two separate rooms I was told I would be in the west tower and I was given the north tower never again will I stay here I was given another room and a $50 dining credit for the inconvenience but got the same tower and guess what there is still mold in here absolutely disgusting worst $200 ever spent DO NOT STAY HERE! The only upside was going to Hooters and having some good wings and salad better off staying at Caesars. What a crappy birthday trip this has turned out to be.

Always one of my favorite Hotels and Casinos. The place is enormous, you can di a lot of walking. Under this roof you can get Anything you need, you wouldn't have to go outside the complex. Service was excellent, rooms are simple and the entire place is very clean. No full size mirror in the room, only mirror is in the bathroom. They do not give you body wash either.

I stayed at Tropicana from 12/22/23 to 12/23/23 and let me say this was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel . First we get there and there a long line with only two people at the front desk we wait 40 minutes for our room key then when we get to the front desk they didn't even have the room that we booked way ahead of time . I was told that I had to pay $50 up front then another $50 at the desk when I get to the desk it went from $50 to $185.00 which they tell you" you'll get it back at check out which wasn't turn I had to wait 3 days to get my money back . When we got to the room that we didn't book was nasty and falling apart I would definitely recommend going to a different hotel . Also the light for the shower didn't work and they have an old as tv in there from the mid 2000's .I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO TROPICANA

First time back after Covid and boy what a difference / you can see budget cuts and reduced staff and lack of services. Checking in was a nightmare-long lines even on the self service kiosks. And you would think that a casino with a good percentage of seniors and disabled would be more conducive to them. Rooms for the disabled at the bare minimum / I was unable to use the bathrooms anywhere in the hotel/I'm 6'2" with limited use of leg -disabled stalls designed with

This casino has gone downhill. Used to love to come here and finally came back after two years due to everything closing from Covid. The crowd has changed and it reeks of weed and smoke throughout the place. The smell sticks to your hair and clothes. Rooms are ok but don’t feel they are very clean. Disgusted. Never coming back here.

We had a decent weekend stay at this resort. There is a lot to see and do, with restaurants, bars, a movie theatre, casino and shops. There is a salon as well. It's right on the boardwalk. It would have been a nicer view of the ocean had the windows been clean, but no matter. The room was clean, and the housekeeping staff were so nice & friendly. The restaurants had very good food, and the walkability was terrific.

Awesome hotel in AC! Lots of great restaurants and shopping. Hate the smoke in the casino though. I wish it wasn't a thing. Food at PF changs, carmines, the palm and hash house a go go are so good! Recommend making reservations in advance if you can. Hotel rooms are OK some towers are better than others.

The positive is, if you have a good sense of humor, it's almost like Ashton Kutcher's gonna pop out from behind a corner and tell you your Punk'd at every momentThis hotel is so low rent. Starting from your arrival. No one to hold or opens the heavy doors for you as you walk in the front entrance first of all. Nobody to take your luggage. You will wait in a long line much like the line at the airport to check into your room. They had one person working even though there's a large conference booked starting today. Eventually, three or four more employees showed up -by that time a woman was crying because she waited two hours to For them to find her mysteriously disappeared reservation. She had traveled all day. When it was my turn, a similar story. Even though I showed him the email confirmation, the gentleman was insistent on his end I did not check in until tomorrow. I stood there for a half an hour after a long day of travel, pulling up my emails, showing them to him, while he intermittently disappeared into a tiny door behind him, for God knows what reason and came back with an answer "still couldn't find my room."Keep in mind this hotel is the size of two city blocks. There was nobody in the lobby, except for the people for our conference. They definitely have rooms. Eventually, he charged me another $550 for an entire other room for four days (assuming I have that kind of money on my credit card why would I be staying at the Tropicana unless there was a conference, and I had to)He explained that was my only option to be able to sleep there tonight as it was now 9 o'clock at night. No one to show me to my room. No one available for the suitcases so me and four other women I had just met lugged our suitcases probably a half a mile (no joke that's how big and understaffed or staff that doesn't care) up and down several elevators looking for our room. We finally desperately flagged down a housekeeper who begrudgingly pointed in a general direction. We joked we felt like we were travelers in a desert looking for the oasis. At least we still have a sense of humor. women had similar stories of trying to actually even get the hotel to give them their reservations/room key. Was grateful to finally trudge down a dim hallway with dirty looking walls and old worn carpet to find room 947. Hint - don't reserve this room.My view out the window was an ugly wall with spotlights aimed at my windows. There were no water bottles in the fridge. ??The beds have thin covers -look kind of like they belong in a jail All night long veritable spotlights came through the window so my room was like 9 in the morning all night long.Went out to try to find food -walked about another half a mile. Through the hotel. Most of the restaurants were closed. Figured it's a good time to start a Detox after the flight food came back to my room. Met a nice gentleman walking down the hall who is upset about his room. Turns out the same thing happened to him and they charged his card even though he's the owner of a small nonprofit business helping underserved children and can barely afford having his car charged double. He and I will join forces tomorrow and go down to management. Who seems like they don't care at all 5 AM my phone ring in my room - a wake up call I did not order 5:30 AM drunk, loud people stumbling down my hallway. Air conditioner system is from the 70s. If you touch it more than a hair it will become broiling or icy. This is only in 10 hours of me staying here! I will update later, when more things unfold because this is quite the adventure!Update: a certain staff member at the hotel who had been there a long time advised me to get loud instead of being nice. I did that after a really fun Zumba class that was complementary in the hotel gym, and indeed, I did get my room. This room only has one broken light fixture. Everything else looks great and the view is fine.At this point, I'll have to wait to check out to see what the charges are. Things perked up after my decent

Stayed at the Tropicana hotel this past weekend for an event. It is located in a good spot but this isn't a tired hotel. The common areas were decent and restaurants good but hotel needs to be updated. Stayed in the Havana tower which seems to be over one. Place reeks of smoke, check in was a nightmare - kiosk didn't work and only two people working front desk. Parking terrible, took us 35 minutes to get out of self park. Got bill at checkout and added a bunch of ridiculous fees so my $165 room wound up being over $200. Would not stay here again.

While it may be older than some of the more well-known casino hotels in Atlantic City, they make up for it with the unique attraction of "The Quarter", a sort-of indoor street mall, with shops, restaurants, pubs and a nightclub. There's even an IMAX theatre onsite. The property is right on the boardwalk, which makes for a great way to walk off the meals and liquor you've consumed. There are a variety of restaurants contained inside, including 3 featuring Asian cuisine, 2 with Italian food, and numerous breakfast places. There are a couple of familiar chain restaurants, too, but two of the best places for quality and service are Il Verdi and Hash A Go-Go (sorry, gentlemen, it's not as exciting as it sounds). The attention and service from Emily makes you feel like your table is the only one she's servicing at Hash, and the food portions are HUGE. Meanwhile, Il Verdi is a classy dining experience, reasonably priced, and expertly managed by Margarita, who willingly welcomes feedback from the public. The server William (or "Bill" as he calls himself) does everything he can to make your experience enjoyable, and has been a long-standing employee of the restaurant.

Been a Trop person since way back. ITS TIME! Time to or a face lift! Caesar's b****** step child deserves better. So much to do, except it's old. It's been renovated! However the exterior, common areas and the crumbling parking garage are too much. Ugh. Use for activity and IMAX! Then leave. E

This hotel entirely smells like cigarette and weed. I asked for a non-smoking room which I got indeed, however the A/C register was venting weed odors into the room all the time. I went to the front desk to complain and what they only did was to spray the room with some cheap freshener. I had to ask for that two times. I will never book another room in this hotel.
