The Claridge Hotel is a historic, vintage-style hotel located in the heart of the Atlantic City boardwalk, offering a convenient and unbeatable location. Guests describe it as a cozy place that feels like home away from home, not a five-star experience, but one that is just right for the price. The rooms are clean and big, though some note they are not the shiniest and can feel outdated with heavy furniture; basic cleanliness issues are occasionally mentioned. Many appreciate that you get what you pay for, with prices considered the best on the boardwalk. The location is consistently praised as perfect. It is right in the heart of the boardwalk, just one block from the beach, placing guests within walking distance of the beach, other hotels, casinos, an amusement park, and Main Street. The hotel connects to Ballys, which is newer and offers more. The pool is described as amazing and a perfect spot to chill, though its maintenance and occasional closures are noted. The hotel also features a small gym, a nice rooftop with outdoor seating, and elevators that work well. Service receives high marks, with staff described as polite, professional, and exceptional, often going above and beyond to accommodate guests and solve problems. However, some extra fees are added on. The overall atmosphere is historic, with some dated elements, but for many, the combination of a great location, cozy vibes, and a price that doesn’t break the bank makes The Claridge Hotel a worthwhile and loved choice for a simple, convenient stay.
A Classic old hotel. Feels like your stepping back in time. They've kept the Claridge up pretty well. Easy pedestrian walkways all the way through..Bally's to Ceasars.

I don’t know about the rooms because I’ve never stayed there. We have our pool tournaments there. The bathrooms are freezing cold and only have cold water and the elevators need some help. Other than that everything is fine.

Nice spot on the boardwalk. Came here for a pool tournament. Friendly staff. Old building, showing a lot of wear.
