Great spot away from the clutter of casinos.....can get from the garage to yocasino. And conference area without going through the casino.
Remember to get a scan card for free parking....

We loved our trip. The biggest problem was we had a smoke free room, but all we smelled was smoke, weed and cigarette. I know this wasn't the hotel's fault, but it kind of was. They also have sections of smoking areas in the casino, but the smoke could be smelled everywhere. Our room was clean and the bed comfy. The location was a bit away from other casinos and not close to the boardwalk. We still enjoyed ourselves though. Picture shows our beautiful view. Lastly, every staff member was friendly.
Rooms: Room was clean. We had a great view of the Marina.
Nearby activities: Lots around if you have a car.
Safety: We saw security everywhere, so that made us feel better.

Meh, you get what you pay for. This hotel is super affordable but, though they have signs they are renovating, it is pretty dated. I haven't seen so much brown in one place since the 84 San Diego Padres took the field. It's brown everywhere: the lobby, the rooms. I truly felt like I had entered a time machine when I entered the hotel. It's a great price (roughly half the price of Borgata) so if saving money is your jam, this is a great option. If you want to feel 'pampered' and to try and trick your brain into thinking you're in Vegas I'd suggest Borgata. If you want to hearken back to the 70s and have that retro feeling of walking into an old brown hotel room or to feel like you're walking into the Stardust like they first do in the movie Swingers then Golden Nugget is your spot. I will say the bathroom was renovated though it has a curious design: you open an elevated shower door on the left hand side and then you need to reach way across to the right in order to turn the shower on, which results in you getting soaked turning on the shower. The alternative is to climb in to turn in the shower, risking either immediately freezing or getting scalded: dealer's choice, I suppose.
Rooms: The rooms are very dated; it was like walking into the past, and it smelled like weed. The bathroom was updated but check out my full review to understand the poorly designed shower entry.

Only giving 1 star because the Google app wouldn't let me give zero or negative stars. This is not a casino anymore, it's a motel now. Tables closed, tables reserved for only one high roller, no room services, book this one only if you're broken.

No microwave, a/c wouldn't get room cold, nice overall hotel just most amenities was closed or closed early

Staying at this hotel basically ruined my anniversary weekend with my boyfriend. It was like being in the Twilight zone. The whole hotel is ancient looking (And they have a sign please pardon the noise they are renovating) What a joke! I got the impression the sign has been there for years, that even had dust on it. Walking to the room through the weed and cigarette smelling hallway. There were cigarette butts on the floor on the hallways and outside the elevator that were still there when we left. And then we walked in the room. And the smell really hit you in right in the face smell like someone was smoking weed in this room for days. We had to go buy air freshener. The room looked like they only clean the sheets and replaced the towels, other than that the room didn’t look or feel clean. You can see dirt and stains on the dresser drawers. A few fruit fly looking bugs flying around, it was literally disgusting. I didn’t even feel comfortable walking around with my socks off. There’s just so much smoke in the entire hotel that you can tell the ventilation systems never even been updated or even works. You could smell the smoke in your sleep. Couldn’t wait to get outside to breathe fresh air. The escalator going up wasn’t working so you had to carry your heavy Suitcases up the stairs. Yes And the best part was In the middle of the night at 2 o’clock in the morning, laying in the bed. You know how rooms have doors in between to split the rooms well, I had to sleep with the chair, the footstool and our suitcases in front of that door because someone was trying to get in not once but twice. I slept in my clothes, the rest of the night and we left in the morning, even though we paid for the whole weekend. Had spa and dinner reservations. We canceled everything and ran out of there. So stay at your own risk.

Was not impressed at all by the property and the stuff was rude and made you feel very unwelcome will stay where I usually do and not here. Also everything was super expensive here need to lower some of your pricing

Excellent
Rooms: Not bad but you have to your blankets
Safety: Plenty of security
Walkability: Easy to get from room to casino floor
Food and drinks: Chairman club not bad but wish they change up food menu and please no mushroom soup

If I could rate this hotel I would give it a zero but unfortunately I have to give a one .first off check in line was long . Waited30 mins to get in. Then we get to the room NOOOO microwave!!!!! How is that even possible! Then the room was dirty dusty and only had clean sheets on the bed! When it was time to check out they refused to lend us a cart ! So me and my handicap mom with my kids had to struggle to carry the bags to car ! Which by the way is a far walk!Oh and apparently your charged a $35. Fee for tourism every day! So make sure to read the fine print before you book with these scammers! Never will go back! And I’m from New Jersey and have stayed at so many amazing hotels!Terrible !

My wife and I been coming here for years unfortunately the front desk service is getting worse and worse my wife went down stairs to ask for a maintenance man at 11pm , 1230 and no one came up we called the front desk and the manager Jennifer was so ignorant to my wife so I called back and she hung up on me what a complete disgrace how can you call yourself a manager and act that way . We ended up leaving and will be reporting this incident someone who acts like that has no place in customer service
