Okay so I went here for my 2023 Taxes and when I say THE MOST HELPFUL! Holly the owner great person Helpful and will explain anything in detail. Luxy she is a master with that ID me and will answer anything that comes her way. 10/10 if you need taxes or have questions about ID me this is the place to go

Note: The reason for my long review is because I would like to share my experience for those who were in my shoes, to help make the decision to get their sh!t together!
Short Story: Thorough, professional, patient, quick. For those that are lazy/afraid of getting taxes done like I was, don't be. Definitely recommended.
Long Story: I had not filed taxes for the past 5+ years due to personal issues. One of many responsibilities that I neglected, this was one of the more stressful ones. Constant worrying gets to be debilitating to the point where I actively avoid it.
With that said, I was blessed to be able to get my stuff together. I started looking for tax services in Atlantic City area and after researching reviews at several places, I decided to go to HR Block, my first choice. After arriving early to my appointment, I walked out after being made to wait 50+ minutes. I then chose to go to a non-chain shop this time and chose ATAX/Holly after reading good things online.
I sent an email to Holly and she directed me to make an appointment online. That was simple enough. On the day of the appointment, I was seen right away. I know that is situational but it ended up working for me. I wish I just went to ATAX from the start. The office was clean, Muni Long was playing in the background, and it did not have the same vibe as HR Block, which is a great thing.
I sat with Holly and explained my situation and asked for advice on what to do. She looked through my documents, offered me water, and immediately got to work. Not filing taxes for so many years, I had many concerns. She patiently answered all my questions and laid out my options. She did not judge but she also did not sugarcoat things. It was if I was speaking to an Auntie. Someone who is understanding but will tell you things straight up. Someone who looks out for your best interest.
If not for a few technical issues, she would have finished filling out all 5+ years that day. Holly helped me overcome this thing that caused me so much stress and worry for the past couple of years. I am now relieved to have handled this and had I known this was going to be my experience, I would have done this way sooner. She also gave me a great price to handle everything. Way lower than what others charged per tax filing.
If you have the pleasure to use ATAX/Holly's services, you can be confident you will be treated with respect, get accurate information and get service in a timely matter.

Holly Allen has been doing my taxes for years. She is warm and funny and gives excellent service. She really takes the stress out of it. The office is clean and smells nice. The cost is fair. She works hard. She has good availability. She always makes me smile. I appreciate her. She is a treasure. Please support black owned businesses and give Holly a try.

Great experience with Angie last year.
But called back this year spoke the owner she was nasty and totally unprofessional and wanted charge myself and two sisters $300 each.
Not ever going back there!

I am a new client with Mrs Holly, and she is such a delight to work with. I filed my taxes with her, and she answered all of my questions, and was very hospitable during my visit. She offered me a drink, plus a snack while I waited and top it all off... I left with $50 for filing my taxes with them. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable with taxes, I would recommend you go see Holly- I will be going back- Not only is she professional but she’s hilarious! Forget H&R Block and TurboTax, Go somewhere where you can ask the questions that you need answers to!

This was my very first experience with Atax , and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience! Very smooth, very polite, clean homey environment. She made me feel very comfortable and walked me through every step and explained everything thoroughly. I would recommend everyone to come here and I will be back same day next year! lol thank you guys!!

So, I googled where I could get my taxes done in the city and this place already had some really satisfied customers from the past . So I didn't call or make an appointment just walked in (guess it was the perfect time) and was serviced on the spot. Everything about my experience was perfect after signing in , even the hiccups ( that were my fault) . I mean endless assistance to leave a satisfied customer such as myself. Did I say I even walked out with $50 , being I was a first time customer? Well, I'll be back next year ( God willing) . By the time I got home, I received a confirmation text stating my return was approved. CAN'T WAIT...
