Update: hours have been cut back to 10-630 during the week, making it much more difficult to pick up. Drive-through is no longer being used (despite what the billboard says)Been shopping here since it was a rite aid for several years. The staff has been generally good. Since the change to walgreens though, the phone system has become the single most frustrating abomination i've ever dealt with. First, it's bloody impossible to figure out what to say to speak to someone that isn't a robot. If you don't have your RX number (which u probably don't if it's not a pill bottle) you're SOL. Second, if it happens to connect you, u might end up on hold for 10+ minutes with the same "We're sorry, our staff is answering other calls" message occurring every 11 seconds. It's an unusable experience. I would rather go to the dentist than have to refill my prescriptions over the phone with this phone system. Oh, and this is if the phone system kicks in properly.

This place is terrible!! They only have 1 person at the register. You can hear other employees chit chatting behind the mirrored both but no one will help ring. Pharmacy staff is behind window unavailable to help when you can't find something

It seems to be impossible to schedule a COVID test here. I made an appointment online but I didn't get a confirmation email. I tried to call to confirm but I just got the automated system--it was impossible to get a representative on the phone--and it told me to come in anyway. I got there and they said my appointment didn't go through. Avoid this place if you need any sort of medical service.

So frustrated with the pharmacy department. Used to love it. Now when you refill online, the pharmacist doesn't refill it until you show up and ask for it... then you have to sit and wait for it with all the sick people hanging out.

After 25 minutes on hold waiting to talk to the pharmacy my call was dropped without being answered.Second try, thinking they can’t just hang up on every call, I spent another 25 minutes on hold, and again was disconnected before anyone answered.

Waited an hour to take a covid test. Just sat waiting in front of the window for about 45 minutes of that hour. The technician offered no instruction. This is the third test I’ve been on and it was a solid waste of an hour. The only reason I chose this location is cause it is closest to my house.

The wait times are very long , as is all walgreens in the middle if a pandemic. As people gave them a hard time for all the while as I sat there these women were still doing everything in their power to please each customer. The taller young lady was so gentle and so sweet I didn't mind waiting because I knew she and her team were trying their best. The word of the day for all of you complainers is PATIENCE. God bless America

Worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. No communication. Was placed on hold just to be hung up on multiple times while trying to simply check the status of my prescription. The pharmacy employees were incompetent and rude. Never in my life have I dealt with such hassle over a prescription. Retrain your staff.

I recently tried to speak to someone in pharmacy at Walgreens in Asbury Park and was on hold for 25 minutes and was next in line and got disconnected. Immediately called back on hold again for 25 minutes and same story. Not sure if it a phone system glitch or what. Either way they need more people answering the phones.
