Great location, beautiful and trending hotel (rooms are different than most luxury hotels). Rooftop movie night is a hit. Lobby area is a good time.

I have far too many staycations at The Asbury. Every single employee is professional, personable and just overall great people. It’s hard to motive myself to go out since there is so much to do at the hotel. It’s truly a gem.You know what else is a gem? Jack at the front desk. He goes so above and beyond to ensure the guests have all of the info they need to ensure you have an awesome stay. THANK YOU JACK!!

I can’t say enough about this amazing Jersey Shore resort! It’s more than a hotel- it’s truly a resort where everything is at your fingertips- food, drinks, entertainment, relaxation- you don’t need to leave the resort to have an amazing time! The location is absolutely perfect. Beach, boardwalk, bars, music are just steps away. The pool is fantastic, the bars and the 24/7 snack bar are wonderful. The rooms are cool and comfortable. Most importantly, the customer service is outstanding. They message you before your stay and take requests! In a time where hotel chains are charging service fees to get early check-in or late check-out, the Asbury staff still treats you like a VIP!.I haven’t experienced the ballroom but I will certainly keep it in mind if ever planning an event. It is absolutely worth the $ to stay here- for a couples getaway or girls night out! There are a few other decent hotels in the area but Asbury is the best!Rooms: Chic, comfortableNearby activities: Boardwalk, Stone PonyWalkability: Wonderbar/Stone Pony/boardwalk/beach steps awayFood & drinks: Snack bar has everything you need, rooftop bar is cool, pool bar & food are great.Noteworthy details: Make time for the pool- it’s beautiful!

Asbury hotel is my type of hotel. Housed in an old Salvation Army building, the hotel retains its charming exposed brick walls, adding a touch of history to its contemporary ambiance. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are expertly designed to maximize space and create a cozy atmosphere. The Scandinavian-chic decor adds a trendy and minimalist vibe, with clean lines, neutral tones, and sleek furnishings. Despite the compact size, the room still manages to provide all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed, a small desk, and a walk-in-shower bathroom. It is located in a vibrant neighborhood, guests have easy access to the beach, boardwalk, and various dining and entertainment options (including the immersive Clinch gallery).

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The employees are fantastic and very helpful. Kat specifically during our stay! The location is amazing, you’re in the middle of all great places to eat/drink. Live music regularly and the hotel is connected to the lanes. If your looking for a great welcoming atmosphere with plenty of culture come here!

Great central location with a cool lobby for hanging out. Music each night. Our room was clean and well accommodated. However, had two issues. Our entire stay the elevators had a horrible over powering smell of gas that literally made me gag each time I stepped in the elevator. (I started walking down the 4 flights of stairs and just took elevator up.) Management in the lobby just smiled and said there was an issue with the pool line fire pits, but it should not have smelled that bad Thurs-Sat. It didn't' seem like they were doing anything to air if out if the issue was actually fixed. The second issue is the automatic inclusion of 20% tip on every drink and food purchased in the lobby or meal purchased at the Diner attached to the hotel. A tip is not an assumption, rather it's for good service. That made me not want to tip at all.Manager of the bowling alley was really friendly and helpful. The hotel bartender could have been more personable. The lobby was empty one night and my friends and I waited for him to ask us for our drink orders as he prioritized setting up his bar over attending to guests. All in all great hotel.Rooms: CleanNearby activities: Kim Maries great bar nearby and the beach is a quick walk.Safety: Felt safeWalkability: very walkableFood & drinks: Diner was extremely over priced. $16 for eggs, toast, potatoes and meat. Nothing exceptional.Noteworthy details: Pool table and free pinball

This place is fantastic. Come on a Tuesday, preferably off-season. Bob Egan and his collection of local talent will treat you to the best hotel lobby experience that you have EVER had. Enjoy?. I did.Noteworthy details: The service, the attention to detail and the show. Oh and its beautifully unamerican in style

We were at the Asbury which is a fabulous site for a wedding. The hotel was beautifully and playfully decorated for Christmas. After party was at the bowling alley. Rooms very basic with a cute record player. Great location...near beach and boardwalk. Halls are all banged up...need sprucing. Staff nice...but overwhelmed with three weddings going on plus a New Year's party. They need more staff when there are so many guests. To order food, a coffee, or find out where ice was...any query a 10-15 minute ordeal. Checking in...also took way too long. Lots of fun music going on here. A hotel designed for fun. Our granddaughters' first hotel experience ever...worked out nicely due to a superb wedding venue.

I paid the Hotel Asbury to stay there from the 24th to the 26th. My car started malfunctioning. I accidentally put in that I wanted to cancel. But really I just wanted to either get a refund or perhaps move my stay to another night. I still wanted to come. My brakes were not working. Instead they kept the money. I get nothing. I suspect that they will rent the room to someone else. And make more money. That's just awful. Don't go to this place. They couldn't care less about people staying there. Certainly didn't care about me.

What a great, funky and fun place to stay in Asbury. A unique atmosphere, totally funky from the moment you arrive. They offer valet parking for your convenience. The lobby is part industrial and part plan cool. They have record players in every room and in the lobby. A well stocked bar, music and karaoke. Stylish seating, and a grab and go bar. They have a dinner round back and a bowling alley. I will be back.

Nice hotel close to the beach. Rooms are fine with 2 doubles or a king. Very nice bathroom. Has a concert hall, Asbury Lanes attached and a diner, which is not that great. Lots of seating in the lobby with live music on some nights. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Ok so overall this is a very cool hotel. Trendy. Dogs welcomed. Heated pool opened all winter. Live music at night in the lobby was great. We sat with our dogs and relaxed with ice cream we doordashed in.The rooms are small. Tight. Unfortunately, I had one of the worst night sleeps in our room. We stayed in the double bunk room, and I found the bed to be extremely uncomfortable. Also you can hear everything outside the room. People screaming on the streets and then rowdy people in the hallways at 2am. I didn't get much sleep at all. Maybe it was just a crazy weekend with it being Thanksgiving.Walkability: Within a few minutes walking distance from EVERYTHINGFood & drinks: No restaurant on location, but they do have a takeaway counter, and I have to say, their food was very good. We ordered the breakfast burrito and sausage eggs and cheese. I was expecting something frozen, but it was all fresh.
