Used to be great, now prices are worse than goodwill. Absurd. Very very disappointed.

The clothing sections are much smaller than in previous summers, but still plenty of nice dishes, cookware, bric-a-brac, furniture, and accessories. Reasonable prices. Treasures galore. As advertised, completely accessible with a ramp and aisles wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair.

Terrific spot, all for a good cause. Scored three dress shirts (2 Brooks Brothers, 1 Land's End (all great/unworn condition) for $15-let them keep the change from a $20 to help their cause. I'd like to see the clothes sizes better marked on the racks though.

I love JSRM!! I can go in on a whim and find something I need or just want and I believe in their heartiness to help. The staff is quietly cooperative and generous to all. They have fixed up the store so very much and they get good treasures. I do my birthday and christmas shopping there as much as I can.

awesome little local thrift store that puts homeless people to work and supports them. They are always attentive if you want to look at something behind the counter. Store is much cleaner since the re-arranging of things.

Okay so I went to this place last minute panic to find a tool for a small flooring job For a client that is turning into a nightmare. I have NEVER been to this place and I'm a thrifter. Some can call me cheap but I look at it as saving the plant by keeping things out of the landfill. I lived on 7th Ave for years back before Asbury became the hip "ICONIC MIDCENTURY FIND" at over priced "thrift stores". Anyway I saw this place in passing and said I'm running in maybe they will have what I needed. Mind blown as soon as I walked in. It's what a Thrift Store was 10 years ago. I approached a gentleman (so kind) named tom and asked for assistance finding what I needed. He didn't have it on the floor and searched the back real quick. AND FAST FORWARD 3 mins HE BROUGHT MW WHATCI NEEDED IN HAND!!!!! I was a little snotty bc I'm not a fan of Black and Decker, but I'll say this, bc he looked for it out of his was, I'll keep it forever. And appreciate the story behind it. Not only that ALL of the proceeds go to assisting the less privileged. Not the fake our name is "GOODWILL" so assume we are giving back. I know some of the corporate heads at that company (Goodwill) and what I have seen them do with their upscale donations would make most not even think of going back. Beyond 501c3 corruption. Anyway I want to let this review express how glad I am that I was in a panic today to find a tool.... If I wasn't I would have never gone there. Now I'm sure I'll be a regular. I only glanced at the clothing and accessories and I'm kind of a label person and I saw beautiful pieces. It's big also. It's not Like Habitat. It's kind of like what habitat used to be 10 years ago. So to thrifters out there CHECK IT OUT. AND TO THE COMPANY; you need to give your employe JASON a gold star. He is kind to everyone and runs around that place to help everyone he can. (Trust me I watch these things knowing I'll be reviewing them after). He is a gem to your establishment. Thank you. My flooring job just got easier. See you all soon.

The Thrift Shop at the Rescue Mission is a good place to donate articles you no longer need that are still usable instead throwing them away, people who do not have a lot of money to spend can use them, they also serve supper to the people who need food.

Undeniable, it's the hidden treasure of Asbury Park. Jersey Shore Mission should be you next stop in rediscovering Asbury Park. Every day restocking of donated and closeoutsd keeps me stopping by.Prices are more than reasonable and unpretentious. Keeping Asbury employed and relevant.

I'm sure they do good work but not helpful when asking how and where to donate.
