A deer hit the car and the Insurance company sent us here. Horrible service. They don't answer the phone or give updates. They have your car for way longer than necessary because they "don't have the part" or "ordered the wrong part". Ridiculous and unreliable.

My insurance company referred me here, and I was nervous based on what I had read. However, I had a wonderful experience here. They replaced my bumper with oem parts, perfectly matched the non-standard paint, and even detailed the car inside and out! I was absolutely impressed with the service I received. If I HAD to have a complaint, it took a whole 2 days more than they originally thought to complete the job... seriously, even THAT was better than I expected!

Would give 0 stars if possible. If you want an incompetent shop, this is your go to. It'll take them weeks to get back to you for even a minor repair if you don't go through insurance. They do not call you back if you request it for any questions they aren't able to answer, and they will say they'll call you back but never do. Would never go back to this shop again.

I recently had a terrible experience with Denville Bear and feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction. The lack of good customer service and the inexcusable delay in repairing my car were extremely frustrating and disappointing.The customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful throughout the entire process. When I initially brought my car in for repairs, they barely acknowledged me. They said they will call with updates, yet I never got a call from them. I was the one that had to reach out to them numerous times. Whenever I tried to inquire about the status of my vehicle, I was met with indifference and short responses.It ended up taking a staggering 30 days to get my vehicle back. Coincidently, the exact time I had with the rental that was provided by my insurance. This mechanic worked with my insurance and with the car rental. I am not a believer in coincidence, so this didn’t feel right.I have to say, there was one individual, Johnny/John who was the last person I dealt with when picking up my car. He was the only one that was kind and didn't seem bothered to help.

On Christmas Eve 2022, a deer ran into the front passenger's side of my 2010 Mercury Milan. The damage wasn't pretty, but mechanically the car is still 100% sound, and I had no reason to expect any issues.The first red flag was the manager telling me he could not find the parts to do the necessary repairs. I found ALL of the parts readily available for less than $2500. After dropping off the car for an estimate, I went back to pick up the car so I could keep driving it while I wrangled with the insurance company. Although no repairs had been authorized, my damaged but operational headlight and turn signal assembly were torn out of my vehicle. I had to wretle with it for a couple of hours to get it back in place the best I could and somewhat protected from the elements.While I was picking up the car, I let the manager know I'd most likely be back to have the car repaired soon. To my astonishment and utter dismay, he told me he declines to take the work. He refused to perform a fairly simple, routine, common and straightforward bodywork repair.From what I can ascertain, since I'm no longer a Geico customer, Denville Bear & Body thinks it's now okay to treat melike garbage and refuse to repair my car.No problem.The business they could have had is on its way to Newton Auto Body.No future auto body work I require will be performed by Denville Bear & Body.Ever.Thanks for wasting my time.

If you have any damage to your vehicle just do yourself a favor and go to a different shop. (Poor workmanship, very slow)
