Felt very safe, super welcoming for families with kids, couples, etc. for a short walk around the pond. Encountered a few deers maybe 10 ft. from the trail, lots of different birds. Like that there are random benches to sit and raised platforms to get views. Recommend if in the area.

Celery farm is a good place for an easy stroll with pond views and lots of greenery. The path is very well maintained, with wooden bridges in some places and raised platforms to take in the scenery. It can get very muddy after rain. There is a small parking lot but it fills up fast.

Walking trail only (no running or bikes). Beautiful and serene place with a few lookouts to view the waters.

A beautiful spot in northern NJ with no dogs, no BBQs, no fishing or hunting... just nature and the trail and you. The wide variety of birds and other wildlife here becomes very apparent after only a few minutes. Do bring your camera, binoculars, and comfy shoes for light hiking though mostly dirt trails. Don't forget a hat and mosquito repellent during relevant seasons.

1st time here 4/17/21 what a beautiful, serene, peaceful place! After last year this was good reminder of the beauty around us. Pandemic or not theres little gems out there if you look hard enough. This is our new favorite place!! I highly recommend!

Hard to see the parking lot from the road--their website gives the best directions to actually get there. Nice views of the lake and lots of opportunities to see different birds. The path is rather muddy so dress appropriately; otherwise a nice place to walk, talk, relax on their benches, and see some local wildlife.

No celery is being grown, it's actually a nature preserve. There's no dogs or bikes allowed. Sections are fenced off to keep you on the trail. The trail is about a mile and goes around the lake. Some of it is boarded and much of it is in the shade. If it rained recently, than it may be muddy, otherwise sneakers or shoes are fine. It stays level and is good for elderly or kids. There's a lot of benches and a few lookouts as you go around. The preserve is exceptionally clean. I saw one plastic bottle, so I picked it up.

Very nice walk. A lot of wild life. I can't wait to see it in spring. There is butterfly park.

So happy it's back open! 5-star worthy, but the people visiting without masks and with food and drink bummed me out. Also, this is NOT an area for running or jogging! It's frustrating when many people utilize this NATURE PRESERVE as their gym. Not sure what the punishment for these violators would be, but they should be fined.

This park has a short trail that leads to a gorgeous lake. I came here early in the morning and enjoyed hearing the birds chirping and leaves rustling. The best part was that I got to see two swans swimming in the lake which is a very rare sight. It was the perfect place to visit before getting my day started:)
