“I’ve been wrenching my whole life and as much as I enjoy servicing my own vehicles, I don’t have the time. The dealership quoted an astronomical number for my wife’s VW Haldex and Brake Fluid service interval. Since you need the car level for the Haldex, I decided to search out a mechanic specializing in German vehicles. I came across Andy and his team via a Reddit forum. These guys really know their stuff and I couldn’t be happier. Also, how many mechanics call you and say “it’s going to be cheaper than what I quoted you?” Andy does! My wife’s VW switched from a filter based Haldex to a sealed unit mid production year. We both assumed a full filter kit was needed which is more labor intensive and costly from a parts perspective. Andy called me once it was up on the lift to let me know if was sealed and as such, much cheaper to do. He could have charged me the original figure if he wanted (would I have caught it later? Maybe…) and made some extra money one time but instead, he was honest and upfront and now has a customer for life. I look forward to bringing my vehicles here in the future.”

“My family was traveling on a 10 hour drive in 2 vehicles. My sons truck lost all power on the highway. I was able to start it and go to 2 different auto shops who said they couldn’t help me. I ended up at Giel’s. 2 of the mechanics who were eating lunch came out and helped diagnose and fix the issue. They didn’t charge me! I was shocked and so thankful. The crew here is knowledgeable and friendly and went above and beyond with the work on my wrangler even walking me through and showing me the problems they had found with it before developing a game plan. The death wobbles I had are completely gone now and my jeep is handling and sounding better than ever and they banged all the work out in a single Day, I am beyond impressed and cannot reccomend them more. I will definitely be bringing my jeep back here it's great to see folks who are passionate about what they do and put care into their work.”
“For general repairs, recommend. For body work, they're booked 1 month in advance, they don't do full paint jobs on cars, and they never got back to me even after a follow up call to get a quote. Disappointing but par for the course. Who wants to blow up another afternoon getting quotes? Of the 3 shops I visited, only 1 quoted, JDT collision in Phillipsburg.”
