I was delivering food to someone who lives here. They gave me a passcode to enter that opens the gate. I enter the passcode and the person on my right speeds through the gate. I continue behind them thinking I'm good and the gate almost shut on the top of my car.I don't know who designed this mechanism. But it's absolutely ridiculous and you are lucky my car didn't get damaged.

My husband and I rented 3 apartments collectively in this community and loved every bit of it! The apartments themselves are very spacious and modern. The staff was more than nice always greeting us in passing. It truly was a great experience. Sad to go but happy we have many memories here!

I do live here have since Feb. wrote a glowing review and now forced to take it down to avoid false advertising. This place is the absolute worst at helping their maintenance crew respond to requests. I have emails, videos and documentation to support this review.The air conditioning is broken in multiple units and the policy on requiring multiple bids is clumsy at best. And they won’t fix it until the compressor completely goes bad despite the contractor stating the unit is going bad. The manufacturer of the air conditioning is out of business too so no parts. No day or time, no window for work orders, beeping in building entryways for days at a time. The staff was “off” for software training and the fire alarm was going off in the building across for at least 20 mins before anyone showed up. The maintenance crew is very nice but they have no help from the office who just tells you “you are on a list” and wait. They replaced something like 23 air conditioning last year alone and more than 10 are currently waiting on timeless repair schedules.

You don't want to live here!!!!No, I don't live there, it is not something I would ever consider. My 83 and 82 Year old parents do. Nothing ever gets fixed in a proper manner. They have a kitchen cabinet door that is broke, and management is aware of it. This was reported Three weeks ago and it's still broke. It's a hazard to my mother. If it hits her in the head, it will be a major problem.They pay the exorbitant rent on time, but nothing gets fixed until I threaten a lawsuit,or call corporate office. I won't even bring up the debacle pertaining to the air-conditioning unit

I lived here for almost a year last year. I give 3 stars because it really is the nicest complex in the area. There aren’t many “luxury” options, so they get stars just for that.Everyone I ever dealt with in the leasing office and the maintenance staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I don’t have anything bad to say about the staff.The application and lease signing was easy and quick.The shared hallways were cleaned weekly which I appreciated greatly.I thought the community was supposed to be non-smoking but there were ALWAYS residents smoking on their balconies and in shared spaces outside. I believe the staff sent out a reminder not to but that didn’t stop anyone. It was hard to enjoy the patio when it often smelled like cigarettes.I felt safe here with my family which is my biggest priority. It was also very quiet! I felt the building was very well made. I hardly ever heard my neighbors.All in all my experience here was nice. But I cannot give more than 3 stars because of how expensive it was for a 1 bedroom. And the area itself was just not our cup of tea (we are not NJ natives).There were things they could have done better (landscaping, making sure the fountain worked (the BEST white noise when it worked), collect packages if needed, and making sure there weren’t broken down cars with flat tires etc) otherwise I don’t have too much negative to say.I do recommend it if you’re in the area.

We have rented an apartment here for 3 months and 3x it has rained hard our ceiling has leaked. I havebeen told by management and maintenance that the issue has been resolved but each time it rains we are putting pots out..

I lived here for a couple of months and absolutely loved it! My 2 bed/2 bath unit was spacious with great amenities! Annie in the leasing office was also a pleasure to work with - from helping me schedule a tour to signing my lease to answering any questions that I had. I would recommend Mi-place to anyone looking for a luxury apartment in South Jersey; it’s definitely worth the money!

My son stayed here on a six month lease. The complex was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. We definitely would recommend this apartment complex!

The townhouses are nice but way too crowded together. The complex is so big you can get lost. The rent is high. Smithville is better lots of woods and recreation.

Live here for 2k and get:No coat closetGeneric email blasts about odd issues in the community you have nothing to do withHowever if you have an issue no email of the sort will be sentConstantly full trash and recyclingAnd your AC might break in a heatwave but don't worry, they'll ignore it for 3-4 days and instead do routine filter changes while you try and keep your apartment under 82 degreesTo be clear I don't blame maintenance, but this place does not have it's priorities in order.UpdateWhile everyone can see they responded, I do not recommend ever calling the office for them to talk down to you with them on their high horse. Never ever do so unless they ignore your email for a few days. It will only aggravate you. Try to settle everything via email where they feel more pressured to be be professional.With regards to the air conditioning, it took several visits from maintenance over four different days for them to add freon. Be prepared for a simple issue to take about a week to be repaired. You'll also only get excuses from the office, nothing will actually be done until they fix anything on their own time. The company opted to hire a bunch of new people more recently. Doesn't seem they treat anyone right because you always get texts or emails saying welcome (name) to the team or what have you, so it's my understanding theres incredibly high turnover and I don't wonder why.Everything was manageable living here, until I said I wasn't renewing. Ever since, totally different treatment.

I have been a resident at misplace for 4 years and love li ing here. The ladies who work so diligently to keep the things run smoothly as well as their understanding g and concern for the residents is commendable. When ever I've had a proble or concern they have taken care of it proficiently. I am happy to and put a shout out to the custodians especially James and Larry who attended to the Hornets nest towel bar and screen. They worked quickly to resolve the issues. They wre very kind and have a work ethic that is exceptional. Kudos to the staff here. Again I love living at mi place at the shore.

You’re telling us and myself as ADULTS that we can not enjoy the pool until 16 year old Susie or Bobby get done school for the day? I am 32.. And 6ft tall. If I drown in a 4ft pool, God was just calling me home at that point. Rude front desk or side office (whatever you wanna call it) lady.. it’s almost as if when they interview you to work there, they see how mean you can be first. We pay to live here.. and we pay A LOT on top of that. At least let us use stuff promised to us when we are moving in. ADULTS SHOULDNT NEED A LIFEGUARD, LET ALONE AN INFANT ONE!

Moving out of state after 2 years of living here. I've had a great experience, with pretty much no complaints at all. It can get a little noisy at times because there's a lot of people who live here, but that's to be expected. Only maintenance problem I ever had here was my blinds broke, and maintenance came and fixed them the next day in less than 5 minutes. If I wasn't leaving, I'd happily stay here. Nice place!

I loved renting from this property. I always felt safe, and the leasing manager Lori was always polite and prompt to answer any issues. This is the second time I rent from mi place and both times were a smooth ride in terms of living and moving out.
