The staff is ALWAYS extremely friendly, accommodating and patient with me and my older pitbull who has difficulty walking. They are compassionate and understanding when I allow her to hobble along on her own, and always offer to help when I have to carry her. They are knowledgeable and take more time than some specialists I've been to and support me in taking the least invasive steps to help my girl. I highly recommend them to anyone!
Which staff members deserve a shout out? Everyone! Really. From the people at the desk when I first walk in, to the vet tech (maybe Sonia?) who gives my girl her cold laser treatments, to the random staff who say "awwwwwe!!" as I carry my 13 year old, 60lb red nose pitty-pitty- Princess through the office. Oh, and the actual vet, Chris is fantastic too!! : ) They all make the whole experience much less stressful for me and my girl. They took the time to actually physically examine my pup in addition to listening to my story AND did their homework by looking into my pup's medical history from two other veterinarian facilities.

We've had a lot of visits there in almost 2 years. We've had injuries and illness and surgery and a euthanasia. Everyone is always kind and helpful. We got to meet Dr Constantini tonight who did a melanoma surgery for our boy this summer. She was very informative over the phone but hadn't met her in person. She's great and we really appreciate you all getting us seen quickly for a second visit of the day after a vaccine appt earlier in the day. Dr Constantini and both techs were so nice and patient, front desk staff efficient and happy to see our pups. This isn’t the closest office to us but we’ll keep making the drive because of the great service.

Always excellent care. Everyone is kind and even the emergency hours things move fairly quick. Only disadvantage I would say with such a big practice is there’s no familiarity feel like with a smaller office. But that’s healthcare now… otherwise great staff and great care

I honestly have nothing bad to say. We always have great experience here, and trust me we've been here a lot. Dr Neidemyer has been awesome in caring for our dog. We first met her in the emergency dept. We had to visit several times and we really liked her so she has become our primary vet. She even did the surgery our dog needed. She always makes it a point to explain everything, in detail. I never feel like we are being rushed. Even after surgery she checked up on both my dog and myself. I would love to mention the techs as well. Laura was one of them, but they have all come to know my dog and remember her when we come in. I wish I remembered all of their names but we've honestly never had a bad one. I’m always amazed by the extra steps taken to care for my super scared girl. Things that were completely unnecessary and not part of their job, but they did it anyway to make us more comfortable.

Our Max had his first visit today with Dr. Heather Lingley & it was an amazing experience. The front desk staff were friendly, the vet techs were caring, and Dr. Lingley was stellar. She made both myself & my husband feel comfortable & explained all the procedures & recommendations thoroughly. Let us not forget to mention her amazing bedside manor with our good boy Max! We offer our highest recommendation for this clinic.

Really good experience at this Vet Hospital with emergency situation. Our 6mth old puppy got into something he shouldn’t have when my head was turned for 5 minutes. It was an extremely stressful and I was consumed with guilt and fear as we rushed him to Absecon Vet Hospital.
We were vacationing in nearby beach town on LDW.
The staff and Doctors at the hospital were compassionate and kind. They took excellent care of our puppy, and explained the treatment plan every step of the way. They were professional and supportive and most importantly, took the best care of our pup! I can’t thank them enough for their life saving skills, and how kindly they treated us.

I cannot say enough about the staff here at Absecon Veterinary. They are all so caring and even in a time of crisis they remember to check in on you and your pet. There are so many wonderful staff I have come in contact there but a very big thank you to Dr. Kimberly Mitchell and Dr. Spring and the over night staff who monitored her/cared for her I can't thank them enough. During my sweet pitties second cancer surgery they kept me informed and comforted the whole process. I am proud to say my Brooklyn has beat cancer 2x from life saving surgeries here at Absecon Veterinary. Dr Kimberly Mitchell and all of her supportive staff, the vet techs who no matter what time of day it is are willing to help and assist. How tentative the staff is always remembering us either on the phone or in person

I brought my cat, Piper, in for an emergency visit after she ate a string and I can't rave about absecon veterinary enough. They were extremely compassionate and helpful and really laid out the available options and what they could do to help. I didn't get everyone's names unfortuently, but Dr. Mitchell and Rachel were truly incredible and I can't thank them enough! Highly reccomend.

They were very kind and let us come in very close to closing one night for an emergency visit. My dog was throwing up and had bloody stool, and he probably would have been fine at home, but it was nice to go and have the doctor examine him & explain everything to us. They gave us anti nausea and anti diarrhea medicine & the medicine really did help us all get a good nights sleep after coming home. Everyone we encountered was also very kind and I appreciate how we were treated in a stressful situation!
Update 9/28/2024
I’ve transferred by dogs to this vet after moving and I am very happy with my experiences so far! Everyone has been very kind, from the people who've called me, to the front desk, to the vet and tech staff, and receptionist who checks you out. Plus they are extremely sweet to my dog!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Kaitlin Magee. My young dog had to be put to sleep and she was our Dr. She was patient, so very compassionate, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. She gave us the space and time we needed with our girl and she remained professional yet compassionate through it all. I've had dogs throughout my life and I've never met a vet as caring and kind as she is. They are so lucky to have her. Thank you, Dr Magee.

Our boy was diagnosed with cancer...need I say more? We were shocked and frightened but our emergency doctor reassured us that there were options. Because of his age we opted for palliative care and because of the great doctors we had and the wonderful care he received, he lived a fairly happy and pain free full 8 months with us...months we might never have had were it not for the amazing kindness, care, concern, support and love of the doctors and staff....they saw us through a very difficult time. Do not hesitate to take your "babies" to Absecon!
