Dreadful. I stayed here six years ago and it was awesome. Paid premium price at the end of fall season this year and felt like I was staying at a Super 8. No maintenance has been done since I was there six years ago. Elevators out of service and our porter asked us to help carry the bags (we are all seniors). When I provided feedback to the front desk, she said “we are fixing everything this winter.” The place was in poor repair and also filthy.

Perfect location but Inn really rundown with stains on carpet, musty smell, dark interior, needing major refurbishing (which apparently is happening this winter). Depressing place but location great with easy walk in town. Is not waterfront! Has a dock to the lake down a driveway but your view room is not a waterfront feel at all. Lake can be seen about a blocks distance away.

We stayed here at the end of September, as part of our Golden Wedding Anniversary holiday to New England. The hotel is in a great location , right by the lake, with its own private beach, and easily walkable into the town of Wolfeboro. The reception area was tastefully decorated and was very welcoming. We were met at reception by Denise, who was brilliant, she informed us we had been upgraded to a mini suite because it was our special anniversary. The room was huge, very clean. It had a shared balcony with seating and a view of the lake. The bathroom was large and well fitted out. We stayed for 2 nights, but there was no housekeeping due to shortages of staff. This was not a problem. We only had one breakfast in the hotel, which was continental, a bit limited in choice, but it was free.! Lori, on reception gave us a list of places in Wolfeboro where we could go to eat, for breakfasts or evening meals. She also made sure the tea/ coffee was replenished for us to have some before retiring to our room. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and found the surrounding area delightful. I was surprised by some of the reviews on here but we can only speak as we find. Denise and Lori were exceptional and really deserve our praise.

This Inn was built around 200 years ago for an important General. It's had a few add-ons before it became an Inn. It's been refurbished and is now a beautiful place to stay and with a Tavern, called Wolfe's Tavern, a place to eat and drink without going out in the weather. The fairly new owners are great and friendly so are their employees. So come and check us out for yourself, I think you'll be very happy you did. Also pet friendly ?, has an out door fire pit to sit around ?, and you can walk down town or take the Trolley if you don't feel like driving ?. ? ??? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐♥️Nearby activities: All sorts of stores for window shopping and take a ride on the Mount Washington for great views of Lake Winnipesaukee.Walkability: Walk down town for shopping and dining.Food & drinks: Some quant restaurants and Wolfeboro's own Yum-yum Shop with great treats to pick from.

My stay at the Wolfboro Inn was undeniably disappointing. The inn appeared rundown, with dated furnishings and a general lack of maintenance. Despite the relatively high price, the value for money was poor, as the amenities and overall quality of the accommodations did not meet expectations. It was a regrettable experience that left me wishing I had chosen a different place to stay

STAY AT YOUR ON RISK. Booked this hotel months and months in advance of a wedding, and they canceled on us and we had a really hard timing finding somewhere else to book last minute. No sort of compensation was provided for the inconvenience and the staff was not apologetic at all. I then heard from others if you’re not part of a wedding onsite , they may cancel you last minute and give your room to guests of the wedding. Do not stay here unless you want to run the risk of being canceled on and having to scramble to find another place!

Stayed here for a night with my grandfather. The staff saw he’s handicapped and were very accommodating and moved us to a better room that wouldn’t be a far walk for him. The rooms are a little dated but they’re also the most affordable place in the area!Nearby activities: Walkable to downtown

This place has plenty bad reviews to prove itself but that bridal manager is not it. Absolutely rude and actually costing that venue money but losing future guest.

We had our grandmothers funeral reception at the Wolfboro Inn and they couldn’t have dropped the ball more!!They messed up all the food, the bar, it was awful. Not only was it bad enough we just buried our grandmother, now we had to deal with begging for food because they didn’t serve enough??Would not recommend and will never do another event here. Last thing we needed to deal with.

There could be so much potential in this hotel that is not used.**Rooms - outdated/spider webs/dirty feeling. First night it smelled like dust burning off the lights.**Breakfast - worse than continental (they did have a flyer saying hot breakfast coming July 2023. I stayed July 26, 2023 and no hot breakfast yet. The window bar that you sat at for breakfast (there was some tables, but most seating was at a long window bar) had dead bugs on windowsills, more spider webs, crumbs.**Price - reasonable. For being prime vacation time (July) in Wolfeboro i paid $260 i believe, which in a touristy town that is not bad.**Location - it is located right in downtown Wolfeboro. Right on the water. This would probably be my biggest complaint -- hotel has a beach. Kids can play in the sand & if you are being picked up by boat there is docks. Grass was overgrown, rock walls falling apart, glass on the rocks, dirty band aids, just messy. It certainly has great potential to be beautiful!**Service - hit or miss on who was at front desk. i asked for an extra trash bag and they asked for my room # and i asked why (obviously not a problem, just weird they asked for it) and they said they need to note it on my account... that i got a trash bag?!I understand after covid, most hotels do not do daily room service, that fine. i asked for my room to be serviced and they maid looked at me like i had 10 heads. She asked what I would like done, i said "uhh? a full room service, trash's, towels, beds, etx" I got back to my room and the only thing that was done was new towels. they literally (this is where i wish i had a picture) threw the sheets over the pillows. not tucket in or anything. There was also very obvious amount of sand on the floor, crumbs from my kid that should have been vacuumed.** The Tavern - i did not eat here so no comment to the food here.

3.5 stars. Great location. Convenient to downtown and you can walk to the lake. Rooms need some updating. We stayed right off the lobby with a tiny window. Kinda felt like we were in the basement. Breakfast was good.

Nice staff, but a very neglected facility. The website was very misleading. There was no sign of a boat, the dock was rotting and dangerous. Two feet of sand hardly qualifies as a beach. We did not eat our meal in the hotel restaurant as it was so poorly prepared. We were afraid we would get sick! Apparently the Inn is owned by a big company (absentee landlord) who buys up old Inns and apparently is not interested in maintenance.
