I took my mother here today, it’s one of her favorite Gardening centers. Personally, I haven’t been here in quite some time myself.
They have an abundance of different plants amongst other gardening supplies.
The workers there are exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming.
Be sure to grab yourself a free bag of popcorn while you’re there!

This place was amazing, it has so much variety, the prices were really great, the quality of everything was amazing, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We will be coming back and recommend this place for anyone who is looking for variety in house plants at a good price!

The shop is beautiful and they have a great selection of plants. The people who work there are both friendly and polite. I bought several plants over the summer and was excited to expand my plant collection. Sadly, all of the plants I purchased were infested with meely bugs. I called several times to get some helpful tips on how to manage the issue. I never could get anyone on the phone. I understand that some pests are to be expected, but I had to throw away all of the plants I purchased after trying to get rid of the infestation. Thankfully, I didn't have to throw away any of the plants I already had since I kept them in a separate area.

This place is special. They provided incredibly well-cared for beautiful petunias for my wedding centerpieces. The flowers were gorgeous and the customer service was spectacular.

House by the side of the road is a wonderful place, the employee's are all so nice, and they always have beautiful plants and other items in stock!

This place is absolutely MAGICAL!!!!!!!!! Their selection of plants is unrivaled, with never ending rows of beautiful flowers and interesting leaves. Most things are clearly labeled, and their prices are reasonable. They have turtles and gigantic koi. They’re also friendly and hospitable, offering free cookies and popcorn. When I asked the woman who checked me out how long she had worked there and she said her whole life, I immediately asked if the place still feels as magical to her as it does to us. She earnestly replied that it does, and I think that says it all.

We stoped at this nursery for the first time and loved it. The place is so big and has so many choices at great price. We drove by many time and decided to stop and glad we did.
We will be visiting more often when in the area.

I just went yesterday and now I want to go back !See photo of my first haul from House By The Side Of The Road. Amazing selection, and they packed them very well for transport and helped me carry them to my car. It almost felt like getting cuttings from a family member! I was able to amble through the whole place without anyone trying to sell me anything, but at the same time no sales people avoided my gaze. It feels like everyone was ready to help but no one was going to rush me along if I just wanted to stare at their turtles, koi pond, or orchids all day. I will be back as soon as I can. Edit Update: I brought my mother who was having the winter blues and it really cheered her up. The place is so full of life it almost feels like a park or exhibit. You should go! Further update: They have all kinds and sizes of pots, faerie garden decor, wind chimes, garden implements, soils, fertilizers, trees, bushes, shrubs, perennials, annuals, all kinds of houseplants, cacti, orchids, and even crystals and clothes.

Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Rambling attached dirt floor greenhouses with everything from house plants, garden plants, yards plants, accessories and a pleasant gift shop. Free small bags of popcorn at register. Next to greenhouse is a well stocked convenience store with similar name. Been to both for many years.
