Customer service is in the stone age. Just called about an outage, got like a guy (As in one, singular) saying leave me a message and I'll call you back. What??? Is someone running this out of their kitchen? Is there an outage map or anything? Their website looks like it's from the nineties and their service matches. Really bizarre, not professional at all.

Unreliable service. My entire road has the same issue and I’m told there’s no issue by a rep. Meanwhile the answering service told me the WiFi disruption might be fixed 11/26. They dropped half their channels and the rest are static and this has been since day 1! I’m changing providers! Argent overcharges you and doesn’t provide service but they’ll surely let you know when you owe $! Thankfully Consolidated is coming to install 1GB for 9$ cheaper! Buyer beware!

Drove 3 hours to return equipment, given their address by their answering service. Only address was a brick wall, no offices just a po box. Called to reach their offices but all day no answer only answering service. Bad customer service.

very slow almost all the time. We pay for 50 mbps and every other day we get about 2 mbps for top speed. plus they make you pay a ton for a trash fire

It’s ridiculous the customer service is awful. With two people doing online school it is a nightmare. I’m constantly having to call the schools because we can’t do meetings. When we call Argent they say there’s nothing wrong and it’s user error.

We haven't had any internet since yesterday morning ( November 14, 2020). Calling isn't any help, you get their answering service and they are totally useless. If I lived in a different town( not Rindge) I would be with another service.

The only reason I gave them one star is because I had to. Tech service is horrible, phones are always answered by an answering service, calls are never returned, and they don't give a damn about any issues. If you have an alternative (which I didn't) use someone else.

We have internet service and it's really great for us - probably 99% reliable and super-fast ... not sure why others seem to have bad experiences.

If I could give Argent -100 stars I would. Absolutely terrible customer service not to mention my WiFi hardly ever worked. I called each and every time my WiFi went down. Was given at least 10 lies as to why it wasn't working and when to expect it back up. I was never refunded when the service wasn't working and could never speak to an actual employee through Argent just someone from the "third party answering service" who never had factual answers to give me. I was more than patient and went days and weeks without working internet WHILE still paying for this incredibly disappointing service. In February they stated that they were "crediting" my account for January not working and that I wouldn't have to worry about a bill for February. WOW so kind except the WiFi still wasn't working during my free month (convenient). I finally gave up and called to have my service canceled immediately as I was fed up with the lack of customer service and the lack of working internet. The "third party answering service" told me that I would receive a call regarding pickup of the modem that I was renting through them. SHOCKINGLY enough I never heard from anyone. Fast forward to today I received a bill for the modem? Awesome. I called and spoke to the THIRD PARTY answering service again and asked why I would be billed for something when I was never contacted to return. I told them to have someone call me today to arrange a pickup of the modem. Got a call from Frank who told me that I carried a balance of "2 months service" that they credited for me. BS. I paid all the way through the end of January and was "credited" a month of free WiFi that never even worked. He told me I had to PAY to ship the modem back to Argent and that once they received the modem that they account would have a zero balance. Absolutely insane. I would never recommend anyone having this WiFi provider. Can HIGHLY recommend Consolidated. Wonderful service and you actually get factual answers in a timely manner. Horrible

Horrible internet service that is not worth your patience or money. It is out and very very spotty more often than it is working. If I want to watch Netflix I have to turn off the WiFi on my phone, otherwise neither will load. Very slow speeds and incredibly overpriced for garbage services. If I could rate it any lower than I would. Customer service has been okay but overall I would not waste your time with this company unless it is your only option.
