Dr. Jen Taylor is the best. She listens carefully as we explain what is going on with our two boys, and advises how to best treat our Kitties. Her staff is excellent as well, and we especially like sharing stories about our cats with Alyssa. We highly recommend Lake Side Animal Hospital.

Lakeside Animal Hospital is amazing. They have been a help for our cats, and we just had to put our nearly 13 yr old Golden Retriever Chloe to sleep, and they were loving and gentle. They made it as good an experience as anyone could have hoped for. Thank you all!

I am very grateful to be able to have my newly adopted dog cared for by the amazing professionals at LSAH, who guided me and my previous pet through the last ten years of his life. We all went through many serious health issues, those that befell him as well as the pandemic and the modifications to their practice that it required. I never for one moment had any doubt about the level of their commitment to my boy. As I begin a new life with a new family member, no matter what may happen, nothing could provide us with greater support than having her under LSAH's care. We will always treasure our access to every member of their amazing team.

Used to be such a comforting place to take my best friend…..fast forward 17 years later….Jen has expanded and has loss her sense of compassion for the care of your fur friend….instead of listening to how the staff treats the client when she’s not there, they have ZERO compassion, they push you aside because they are to busy (apparently we don’t have busy or stressful lives going on)
When my rotty was dieng, they scheduled an ultrasound, I dropped her off in the AM only to get a call 2 hours later saying how the tech who performs ultrasound car would not start and we had to reschedule !!! Picked up my dog and rescheduled for the next day. Dropped her off and the tech still wasn’t there. I left hr there and went back 1 1/2 hours later to see the tech was just showing up. I voiced my disappointment and said how I WAS NOT IMPRESSED!!! Ultrasound showed cancer of liver and spleen on my best friend…. I was DEVASTATED!!! Instead of one of the techs or vets that have worked with me over the last 17 years, it was someone who I’ve never seen before that came out to tell me the devastating news. thought she was there to help with ultrasound. Apparently she was the one covering Jen as she was on vacation. Again ZERO COMPASSION!!!
After having my friend euthanized at home 2 days later, I called and voiced my disappointment with the lack of compassion the staff had. I’ve had to listen to the receptionist “Alyssa” babble on and on over the phone to many times as she tries to give advise!!! (Trust me, if you had to listen to her, you would completely understand) So I would say “OK, GOT IT, THANK YOU, BYE” and hang up. Of course this goes against me and they say I’m rude and have abusive behavior!!! We now have a new puppy…we started with Jen and her staff….however, I have done some research over the last few months and found a veterinarian that still has the compassion and time needed to care for our new friend….unfortunately I let Jen spay our new puppy. When we picked her up that afternoon, the vet tech just read the care instructions off the paper…when I had a question, she looked at paper and kept reading…..she was just like a robot!!! Again, ZERO compassion!!! $750 later and 5 weeks later she has a red bubble. Im asked by “Alyssa”, the receptionist to send pic. I send pic, vet tech responds via text (cuz their so busy!!) and says Jen will view pic on Friday and let me know her thoughts then. REALLY!!! It was Wednesday when I sent pic.. Jen responded Friday morning and said warm compress and Neosporin several times a day. NEVER asked how our puppy was doing.
Instead tells me I can get my puppies records and seek care elsewhere ….little did she know, I WAS ONE STEP AHEAD AND FOUND PROPER CARE ELSEWHERE!!
SUCH CARE & COMPASSSION!!! NOT!!!!
STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU SEEK CARE FOR YOUR PET ELSEWHERE!!!! Jen and her staff are just way too busy….
There are still vets who are looking to care for your friend vs just how much $ can be brought in…..

Tuesday was a blur but you and staff helped me in my sorrow.

My dogs have been patients of LSAH with Dr Kendra for the last few years and I have nothing but positive things to say about it. The team of receptionist, techs, and doctors have all been so kind and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend!!

Oh i wish i knew Dr. Kristi Gaff was back in the area sooner. She is awesome and my anxiety riddent dog, is very comfortable with her. The front desk staff were wonderful, communication was great and support in setting things up was very helpful. The Vet Tech also did an amazing job with all 3 dogs i brought in today.

Odin was sick and we were worried. Dr Kristi and the staff are attentive and loving to our little guy. Got us in quickly, listened to our concerns and gave the Odin the best care possible. Thank you for showing so much love and care to our boy. Highly recommend this caring and attentive Vet Clinic.
